This is an original etching by California artist John Winkler.  The title is: Delicatessen Booth, San Francisco, created circa 1920 this etching is hand signed in pencil lower left border.  The image measures 11X6 1/2 inches.  " Winkler studied at the California Institute of Arts and published his first original etching in 1915. During the following eight years he established a large national reputation for his etchings, the great majority being depictions of San Francisco and its environs...Like Whistler, Winkler had the ability to capture life and movement with the utmost simplicity." This is a fine original etching by French Barbizon artist Adolphe Appian.  The title is: Au Valromey.  This etching was created and printed in 1868, this is a very rare impression done on a thin laid type paper before the addition of the type setting below the image as it was published later by Cadart . published in Paris by Cadart & Luce (fl.1867–1870/1) as plate 6 to the art periodical in its first year, “L'Illustration nouvelle par une société de peintres-graveurs à l'eau-forte”, vol. 1, 1868. The image measures 4 1/8X7 5/8 inches.  Signed in the plate upper right corner of the image.

This is an original etching and drypoint by British artist Francis Dodd.  The title is: Cathedral of St. Bavo, Haarlem.  This etching was created and printed circa 1920, hand signed in pencil lower right, a rich impression which measures 9X10 3/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper, some creases on the bottom border, not into the image area.

This is an original etching by French artist Alphonse Legros (1837-1911)  The title of this work is: Les Laveuses (Washer Women),  also known as Le Lavoir (Washhouse)   It was created and printed in 1904.  Pencil signed lower right, also with the Bliss collectors stamp.  The image measures 6 1/2X 4 3/4 inches.  It appears in the Bliss catalog as image number 602.  It was printed in an edition of 82.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.

This is a very fine original pencil signed wood engraving by British artist George Soper.  This winter scene of a Farmer feeding the cattle has an image size of 5X7 1/2 inches.  Nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a fine original etching by German artist Ferdinand Schmutzer.  The title is: Die Unterhaltung (The Conversation) it was created and printed in 1897.  Hand signed in pencil lower border and also signed and dated within the plate.  The image measures 9 1/4X7 5/8 inches.  This etching is in an early frame.

This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist Frank Benson.  This image titled Geese was created and printed in 1917,  It is from the third state of 3 printed in an edition of 29 signed and numbered proofs.  This one is numbered 27,  Printed on a thin Shogun paper, the image measures 10X15 1/8 inches, a very rich impression.  The image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 124.  There are some repaired tears in the border areas, not into the image.

This is an unusual underwater view.  An original wood engraving by American artist Leo Meissner.  The title Aquatic World, also known as Submarine World,  Created and printed circa 1940.  The image measures 8X10 inches.  Hand signed and titled in pencil.  Numbered 51/55.  This wood engraving is in fine condition, printed on a thin Japan like sheet.
