This is an original early etching by American artist Chauncey Ryder, created circa 1920 during his trip to France. This etching is pencil signed, very richly printed on a medium weight wove type sheet. The image measures 9X12 inches. Gorbio, France is a perched medieval village, high-up above Menton, in the southeastern corner of the Côte d’Azur.
