This is an original pencil signed etching with drypoint by British artist William Strang.  The subject is: a Portrait of Sir Charles Holroyd, No 2,  it was created and printed in 1909.  Holroyd was a fellow artist and printmaker.  The image measures 17 1/2X11 5/8 inches. Printed on a thin laid type sheet.  A beautiful impression.

This is an original oil on panel by American artist Gustave Wiegand.  The title written on the back is: Spring New Hampshire.  The painting measures 12X16 inches.  Signed lower right corner.  in the 1890’s Wiegand became a pupil of William Merritt Chase in New York. At that time Wiegand shared a studio in Brooklyn with four other artists: William S. Barrett, Paul Dougherty, George McCord and Harry Roseland.  Wiegand worked in the style of the American impressionists.  This painting was created circa 1920-30.
