This is an original pencil signed etching with drypoint by British artist William Strang.  The subject is: a Portrait of Sir Charles Holroyd, No 2,  it was created and printed in 1909.  Holroyd was a fellow artist and printmaker.  The image measures 17 1/2X11 5/8 inches. Printed on a thin laid type sheet.  A beautiful impression.

This is a rare original drypoint etching by British artist William Strang.  The subject is a portrait of the Sculptor George Frampton.  Created and printed in 1907.  The image measures 15 7/8X10 3/4 inches. Hand signed in pencil printed by his son David Strang.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.

This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist Stanley Anderson.  The title is: The National Gallery, created and printed in 1925 in an edition of 109.  This image is pencil signed by the artist.  This impression is the second state an edition of 8, before the print collectors edition which was printed in an edition of 100 for the members.The image measures 8 3/4X11 1/4 inches. Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image appears in the Meyrick catalog as image number 167.  "One of the earlier group of Stanley Anderson’s scenes depicting the tramps of London, this image casts a somewhat cynical eye upon the established art in our major public galleries. The paintings hang unnoticed as the visitors sit, reading the newspaper or knitting, and the tramps lie asleep".  (Campbell)

This is a fine highly detailed etching by British artist Stanley Badmin, created and printed in 1929 this image is titled: The Old Ash.  The image measures 5 1/2X4 inches, pencil signed and numbered: 4/40.  Printed on a Buff toned wove type sheet.  "Badmin's interest in  the stark shapes of leafless trees silhouetted against the skyline  is a subject that he frequently pursued.This image shows an old Ash tree near Balcombe, in Sussex.  This image appears in the Beetles catalog as number 12.

This is  a finely detailed  etching by British artist Stanley Badmin.  The title is Richmond Bridge, created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 50, this impression is 4/50.  The image measures 4 3/8X6 3/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil S.R. Badmin.  This image appears as number 24 in the Beetles catalog.  Published by the Twenty-One Gallery. Exhibited:Royal Academy ofArts, 1931. Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, 1932. This is an original pencil signed etching by American sporting artist Edmund Osthaus.  This etching is titled: The Dare Devil, created and printed circa 1910.  The image measures 15 5/8X9 3/4 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is a fine experimental etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title is: Whitehall Court, created and printed in  1903 in an edition of 60.  The image measures 10 1/2X8 inches. The lights of the Charing Cross Bridge in the foreground and reflected in the water.  This image is in the Wuerth catalog as image number 275, pencil signed lower border, printed on a light weight laid type sheet.  A well inked impression.  This etching was last sold by Frederick Keppel in New York, the original label is included.

This is a hand signed and titled etching by American artist Rose Crosman.  The title is: Doorway, Old Town Hall, Rothenberg, created and printed Circa.1910 in an edition of 125.  The image measures 10X8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.

This is an original oil on panel by American artist Gustave Wiegand.  The title written on the back is: Spring New Hampshire.  The painting measures 12X16 inches.  Signed lower right corner.  in the 1890’s Wiegand became a pupil of William Merritt Chase in New York. At that time Wiegand shared a studio in Brooklyn with four other artists: William S. Barrett, Paul Dougherty, George McCord and Harry Roseland.  Wiegand worked in the style of the American impressionists.  This painting was created circa 1920-30.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Kerr Eby.  The title is: Christmas Trees, created and printed in  1940 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 9 1/4X12 3/4 inches.  nicely framed.  This image appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 202.  The scene was most likely taken in Connecticut near his home.

This is an original oil on panel painting by Dutch artist Karel Frans Philippeau.  The title on the brass plaque reads, The traveller's Tale, created circa 1870.  The panel measures 13 1/2X17 3/4 inches.  The painting came from the Regent Street London Gallery, The British Galleries.  Inscribed on the label, "We the undersign guarante this to be a genuine work by Philippeau".   Housed in an Ebonized period frame.  The painting is signed Philippeau lower right corner.  The painting is in very fine condition.

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  This image is titled: Woodland, New Hope, Pennsylvania, created and printed in 1950 in an edition of 55.  The image measures 14 1/2X11 7/8 inches.  This print appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 188.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  The titled is: Redwing, Greenport NY.  It was created and printed in 1968 in an edition of 75.  The image measures 14 7/8X10 inches.  This image appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 314.  This image won the Samuel Morse Medal from the National Academy in 1968.

This is an original hand colored etching by British artist Elyse Lord.  The title of this image is Bird with Hydrangea.  Created and printed circa 1930 in and edition of 75.  This image is hand signed, numbered 58/75 and titled: "Chinese".  The image measures 11 1/4X12 1/4 inches.  Printed on a thin japan type sheet.

This is a  rare etching by American modernist Leonard Baskin.  The title is Oedipus at Collonus, created and printed in 1969 in an edition of 100.  This impression is hand signed, titled and numbered as 36/100.  The platemark measures 23 1/2X17 1/2 inches.  It appears as image number 553 in the Baskin Catalog.  Very nice condition.
