A soft ground etching by German Expressionist artist Lovis Corinth, this image measures 12 1/2 x 9 3/8 inches, published in 1910 in an edition of 50 impressions, state I/III, cat: Schwarz-41,"LC" monogram in the upper left of the image, a faded signature below the image, framed. Corinth began his career studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and went on to study under Bouguereau at the Academie Julian in Paris. He later returned to Germany and became a member and eventually president of the Berlin "Sezession." Corinth is best known for his prints and paintings of figures and portraits.

This is an original etching and aquatint by French artist Georges Rouault. From his Miserere series.  Plate 30: "Nous . . . c'est en sa mort que nous avons été baptisés" / ["Know ye not, that] so many of us [as were batised into Jesus Christ] were baptised into his death?" [John 13: 34] (C & R 83e). Original aquatint, drypoint, burnisher, and roulette. 450 impressions signed bottom left (the date of this print is not visible and there are no pencil-signed proofs) for the Miserere, one of the greatest print cycles of all time. Here we are shown St John the Baptist baptising Jesus while the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove hovers above, confirming the words of St John in plate 28. Image size: 21 1/2X 16 1/2 inches.

This is a fine color aquatint etching by French artist Manuel Robbe.  This image is titled: Les Liseuses, created and printed in  1907 in an edition of 100.  Merrill Chase catalog number 54.  The image measures 19X14 1/2 inches, printed on an Arches watermarked laid type sheet.  A beautiful impressionist interior view of two women reading.  Very fine condition.

This is an original drypoint etching by German Expressionist  artist Lovis Corinth (1858-1925)   The title of this work is: "Alter Mann" (the old man) It was created and printed in 1916.  The image measures 6 5/8X4 3/4 inches.  Signed in pencil in the lower border.Printed on a light weight laid type paper, very nice condition.

This is a fine drypoint etching by British artist William Walcot.  This image of the Brooklyn Bridge was done in his series of 5 etchings of New York City published in 1923 as a portfolio.  This etching is hand signed in pencil in the lower border.  The image measures 8 1/4X9 3/4 inches.  Nicely Framed with archival materials.

This is a very fine original etching by Stephen Parrish, published by Keppel in 1881. The image size is 12 x 19 inches, cat: Schneider-49, plate signed and titled, pencil signed. According to Schneider, this atmospheric image of the Massachusetts shore was one of Parrish's most popular etchings. This print features a very richly inked impression with beautiful plate tone, printed on a medium weight wove type paper with ample margins.

This is a fine engraving with drypoint by French artist Philippe Mohlitz.  This image is titled: C'est arrive a la antiquaire, created and printed in 1972.  The image measures 9 1/4X6 3/4 inches.  Hand signed in pencil and numbered 14/60.  A fine impression in nice condition, nicely framed.  Kersten 44.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Edmund Blampied.  The title is Road to  the Farm.  It was created and printed in an edition of 100 in 1929.  The image measures 10 1/4X8 1/8 inches.  Hand  signed by the artist in pen and ink lower border.  Numbered as 98/100.  This image was reproduced for the book Fine Prints of the Year, 1929 edition… Catalog: Appleby 149.  A fine atmospheric impression, nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a fine drypoint etching on copper by American artist Frank Benson.  It is titled: Over Currituck Marshes, created and printed in 1926 in an edition of 150.  The image measures 7X11 7/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil.  This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 259.  Printed on Whatman Paper.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  It is titled: Little One, Rockport, Massachusetts, created and printed in 1975 in an edition of 100.  The plate measures 9 5/16X13 9/16 inches.  Hand signed and editioned in pencil lower border.  This image appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 359.  Finely detailed, one of his series of Owls that Wengenroth created through out his life time.

This is an original lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  The title is: Inlet Light, created and printed in 1938 in an edition of 181 impressions.  This one is hand signed in pencil, printed on a medium weight wove type sheet with "GOM" watermark.  The image measures 8 1/8X12 11/16 inches.  The image appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 75.  A fine view of the Maine coast.

This is an original etching by American artist Frank Benson.  The image titled: After Sunset  was created and printed in 1917 in an edition of 152.  The image measures 6X8 inches, fine condition, printed on Shogun paper.  This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 113.

This is a very fine etching with drypoint by French artist Edgar Chahine (1874-1947)  The title of this work is: "Mademoiselle Delvair de la Comedie Francaise,", it was created and printed in 1901, pencil signed lower left border.  The image measures 18X11 1/2 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  This image appears in the Tabanelli catalog as image no. 73.  It also appeared in the Holme's book, Modern Etching and Engraving, published 1902.

This is a fine woodcut print by Jamaican artist Albert Huie.  This image is hand signed in pencil and titled: Seaside.  The image measures 9X6 1/2 inches.  Albert Huie (1920-2010) was a seminal figure in the formation and development of a national Jamaican artistic identity, overcoming the hurdles of a colonial-based system of race and class distinctions to become the first native-born Jamaican artist to attain international renown and respect. Working primarily in the areas of landscape, portraiture, and figurative art, he established a multiple award-winning career that spanned seven decades and earned him the title of “the Father of Jamaican Painting.” 

This is a scarce original pencil signed mezzotint by American artist James D. Smillie.  The title is Double Hollyhocks, it was created and printed in 1889.  The image measures 8 5/8X5 5/8 inches.  Printed on a chine collet adhered to a thicker wove type sheet.  A beautiful impression of this very rare mezzotint by Smillie.
