This is an original pencil signed mezzotint by American artist Allesandro Mastro-Valerio.  This study of two bathers at the ocean has an image size of 7X6 3/4 inches.  Numbered as 20/35.  A scarce image by this well known artist and master of the modern mezzotint.  Printed on a heavy weight wove type sheet.  He was a member of the Chicago Society of Etchers,  He is best known for his mezzotint* prints, particularly his female nudes.  His work helped to revive mezzotint as an artistic medium in the United States.

This is a fine original screen print by American artist Max Arthur Cohn.  The title is: Night Scene, created and printed in 1944.  Hand signed with pen and ink within the image lower right.  The image measures 12X17 1/2 inches.  "Best known as a pioneer in screenprints, Max Arthur Cohn was born to Russian immigrants in London, in 1903, and moved with his family to New York City in 1905. He got his first art-related job creating commercial silkscreens when he was seventeen. This is a fine original etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  This etching is titled The Red Mill, also called The Red Barn, Southport.  The image measures 11 1/8X7 1/4 inches.  This pencil signed impression done in etching and aquatint was published in 1922 in a first edition of 25.  Beautiful tonal range and fine composition with extensive reflections in the water.  This etching was later printed with some color in the barn and sky.  Nicely framed with French matting.

This is a very nice impression with wide borders, printed on a medium weight cream colored laid type paper. This atmospheric image from Corot's series of Italian landscapes is a great example of his ability to capture the life and movement of the scene with loose spontaneous lines and rich tones.
