This is an original pencil signed color aquatint etching by Austrian artist Tavik F. Simon.  The title of this work is: Saint Nicholas Market in Staromestske Namesti, which was part of his  Prague series, created and printed in 1916.  The edition was 225 impressions.  Printed on a medium weight arches watermarked wove type paper. The image measures 12 5/8X15 1/2 inches.  Very fine condition.  This image appears in the Novak catalog as image number 268.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Lawrence Kupferman.  The title of this work is:
"Victorian Carriage House". This etching was created and printed in 1939 and is editioned as 13/100.  The etching is signed and titled in the lower border, the image measures 9 3/4X11 5/8 inches.  

This is a hand signed original etching by British artist James Mcbey.  This image is titled: California, San Luis Obispo, it was created and printed in 1941.  This impression is numbered as 38 from the edition of 48. "XXXVIII".  Very nice condition printed on a warm toned sheet, the image measures 6 1/2X14 1/8 inches.  In the Hardie catalog as image number 283.

This is a large original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title is: The Gun Factory, it was created and printed in 1917 as part of his series War Work in America.  The image measures 20 3/4X15 1/2 inches.  Printed on a laid type watermarked sheet.

This is an original wood block print by Jamaican artist  Albert Huie.  This image is titled: In The Woods, created and printed circa 1945.  This woodblock is hand signed and titled in pencil in the lower border.  The image measures 9 1/2X7 1/2 inches.  

Albert Huie (1920-2010) was a seminal figure in the formation and development of a national Jamaican artistic identity, overcoming the hurdles of a colonial-based system of race and class distinctions to become the first native-born Jamaican artist to attain international renown and respect. Working primarily in the areas of landscape, portraiture, and figurative art, he established a multiple award-winning career that spanned seven decades and earned him the title of “the Father of Jamaican Painting.” 

This is a rare early etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title is Brasserie, Au Lion Rouge, created and printed in 1893 in an edition of only 40 impressions.  The image measures 6 1/4X8 1/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil and also signed by the printer Goulding.  This early image shows the influence that Whistler had on Pennell, in both the style and technique.  Nice use of plate tone within the image.  This image appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 188.  A fine view of a Paris Brasserie.  This impression was last sold by Frederick Keppel and Co in New York. Label included.

This is a fine original hand colored etching by British artist Elyse Ashe Lord.  The title is New Moon, created and printed circa 1930.  This etching is hand signed and numbered in pencil, 19/63.  The image measures 12 1/2X8 7/8 inches.  Some waviness to the sheet but overall in fine condition, It came to us in the original Asian style frame sold by Arthur Ackermann with the original label on the back.

This is an original etching and drypoint by American artist Louis Rosenberg.  The title is: The Grand Canal, Venice, it is printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  This etching was created and printed in 1927.  The image measures 8 7/8X13 7/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower right border, very fine condition, nice use of plate tone in the sky and water.  A very rare image, Rosenberg at his best!!!...

This is a fine large etching by French artist Alphonse Legros.  The title is; Le Retour du Bois (Return from the Woods), Created circa 1880's.  This was part of his series known as Death and the Wood cutter.  This pencil signed impression measures 9 1/4X14 inches.  Legros was a well known founder of the etching revival in France.  This is one of his largest compositions.  This image is in the collections of many museums through out the world.  The catalog listing is Bliss 565.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper with partial watermark.

This is an original wood block print by American artist Isac Friedlander.  Created circa 1930 this image is titled: "Companions", It is pencil signed and titled in the lower border.  The image measures 11 3/4X9 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Mitau, Latvia. He was arrested in 1906 and imprisoned by Russian authorities for anti- Czarist Political activities from 1906 to 1912. He studied art at the Academy of Rome, Italy from 1913 until 1917. He was a friend of Russian writer Maxim Gorky. Friedlander began his printing career in 1915. In 1917 he repatriated to Russia during the Kerensky regime, but in 1929 Friedlander immigrated to the US with the encouragement of his cousin Joseph Hirshhorn.

This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist Frank Benson.  It is titled: Canada River, created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 150, printed on Hodamura paper The image measures 6X7 1/2 inches, hand signed in pencil lower border.  This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 179.  A fine impression, nicely framed.

This is an original lithograph by American modernist artist Leonard Baskin.  This image from his important Indian series is titled: White Horse, it was created and printed in 1972.  This pencil signed impression is numbered as 80/160.  Mint condition, the image measures 33X25 inches on a sheet size of 35 1/2X25 inches.  This image appears in the Baskin catalog as image number 616.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Don Freeman.  One of his State series, this image measures 9 5/8X11 7/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil.  This lithograph was printed in an edition of 85.  A fine back stage view of the stage hands, some at Pinochle, while  "up in the Fly loft, the curtain always comes down to the split second."  This image appears in the Freeman catalog as image number 97.
