An original hand colored etching by British artist Thomas Rowlandson.  This image is titled: The Gamester going to Bed,  created in 1809 and reprinted in 1811.  The image measures 6 1/4X8 3/4 inches, printed on an early wove type sheet.  Very nice color still rich,  The image is plate signed in the bottom border.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Alphonse Legros (1837-1911)  The title is: "Les Rochers", it was created circa 1870 in an edition of only 10, this is the third state of three.  Unsigned, the image measures 5X 7 7/8 inches.  This image appears in the Bliss catalog as image number 228.  Printed on an antique laid type paper, collectors annotations at the bottom edge of the sheet.

This is a rare pencil signed bookplate design by Evert Van muyden.  It has numerous views of men working in a printing shop.  Pencil signed lower right.  The image measures 8 1/2X6 1/2 inches.  Collectors seals and annotations on the back.  This image was created and printed circa 1890's.

This is an original plate signed and dated etching from French artist Adolphe Appian.  The title is The Port of Monaco.  It was created and printed in 1873.  The image measures 5 1/4X8 3/8 inches.  Printed on a Chine Collet adhered to a thick wove type sheet.  The image is in very good shape, the bordering back board has some thinning to the sheet in areas well away from the image area.
