This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist Phillip Kappel.  The title is: Willemstad, Curacao, it was created and printed  Circa. 1930.  The image is pencil signed and titled by the artist.  The image measures 6 7/8X8 7/8 inches.  Fine use of plate tone in the sea and sky.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Alphonse Legros (1837-1911)  The title is: "Les Rochers", it was created circa 1870 in an edition of only 10, this is the third state of three.  Unsigned, the image measures 5X 7 7/8 inches.  This image appears in the Bliss catalog as image number 228.  Printed on an antique laid type paper, collectors annotations at the bottom edge of the sheet.

Hopper Emory was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had a successful career in banking before he turned exclusively to his artwork. He traveled to England where he studied at the Heatherly School of Art in London, then returned to Maryland where he became known for his delicately rendered architectural and maritime etchings.

This is an original etching by Boston artist Phillip Little.   This image of a man fishing is pencil signed and dated 1915.  It was later given as a gift, inscribed: "Abbott and Gretchen 1927" in pencil lower left border.   This etching has an image size of 10 1/4X7 3/4 inches.

Etching, image size 6 7/8 x 9 5/8 inches, c. 1915, pencil signed and titled. Kuehne was an American artist who studied in NYC before traveling extensively throughout Europe. After returning to the U.S. he became friends and colleagues with Edward Hopper, William Glackens and Charles Prendergast. From 1914-1917, Kuehne lived and worked in Spain creating many landscapes and architectural scenes, including this riverside vista of the city of Cuenca.
