An original woodengraving by American artist Isac Friedlander, the title of this work is "Son #7" which refers to the Shakespheare Sonnet no 7 which reads: "When the gracious light of the sun rises in the east, each person on earth pays homage to it by gazing upon all its sacred majesty. " This image is pencil signed in the lower border in pencil. The image measures 7 1/2X5 1/2 inches. This wood engraving was created and printed in 1931.
