This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Joseph Pennell.  This image is one of his Panama Canal Series that he created in 1912.  The image is titled: The Walls of Miraflores Lock, 1912.  The image measures 18 1/2X24 3/4 inches, on a Fabiano watermarked laid type paper which measures 20 1/2X25 1/2 inches.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Jacques Villon.  The title is: La Dame au chine.  It was created and printed in 1906, this is the 2nd state of 2.  The image measures 9 1/2X8 1/2 inches.  Catalog entry Ginestet-Pouillon E156.  This drypoint is nicely framed.  Hand signed in pencil lower border, one small foxing spot in the lower border.

This is a very fine original drypoint etching by British artist Edmund Blampied.  The title is: The Joyride, created and printed in  1923 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 8 3/4X10 3/16.  This etching was reproduced for the 1924 issue of Fine Prints of the Year.  Catalog: Appleby 89. Nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a fine atmospheric etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The subject is: Caissons on Vesey Street, N.Y.  This image was created and printed in 1924, in an edition of 75, pencil signed, also with a collectors name at the upper edge of the sheet.  Printed on an antique laid type paper. The image measures 13 3/4X9 1/8 inches.  THis subject was the construction of the New York Telephone building, The Barclay Vesey building.  The image is in the Wuerth catalog as image number 854.

This is a fine drypoint etching by Scottish artist David Young Cameron.  This image is pencil signed and measures 10 1/4X13 3/4 inches.  The subject is The Scottish River Tay, the longest River in Scotland.  This drypoint is richly printed and archivally framed.  The image appears in the Rinder Catlaog as image number 437.

This is an original lithograph by American artist from the Ash Can school of painters, Raphael Soyer.  This image created and printed in 1943 is hand signed and titled: "Farewell"  It is a large image measuring  16X12 1/4 inches. The image appears in the Cole catalog as image number 61.  Printed in an edition of 100.  Very good condition apart from some spots of thinning to the sheet in the outside border area well away from the image.

This is an original hand signed etching by American artist Isac Friedlander. The title of this work is "Aftermath" alt. "Outcasts", this etching was created and printed in 1944.
This etching was created in an edition of 30 signed proofs, this one is inscribed as "Trial Proof #2", the image measures 14X11 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper. The artist's view of the aftermath of war in Europe.
Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Mitau, Latvia. He was arrested in 1906 and imprisoned by Russian authorities for anti- Czarist Political activities from 1906 to 1912. He studied art at the Academy of Rome, Italy from 1913 until 1917. He was a friend of Russian writer Maxim Gorky. Friedlander began his printing career in 1915. In 1917 he repatriated to Russia during the Kerensky regime, but in 1929 Friedlander immigrated to the US with the encouragement of his cousin Joseph Hirshhorn.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Gifford Beal.  The title is: Tight-Rope Performer/Aerial  Acrobat, created and printed circa 1930.  The image measures 13 1/4X10 5/8 inches.  This lithograph is pencil signed, inscribed 100 imp.  One of his series of Circus images that Beal created when the circus came to New York City.  This lithograph came to us from the Beal family.
