This is an original etching by American artist Joseph Pennell. The title of this etching is "Madison Avenue" also known as "Rebuilding Madison Avenue". This etching was created and printed in 1923 in an edition of 50 impressions. This proof is hand signed in pencil by the artist with the "imp" after his name meaning that he printed this impression himself. It is printed on an antique laid type paper. The image measures 12X9 1/8 inches. The image appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 811.

Some light toning in the borders, the border on the left is trimmed 1/4 inches outside the platemark.

The plate for this image was discovered by Felix Bracquemond in a box of nails in Corot's home.
