This is a fine original etching by German artist Ferdinand Schmutzer. This interior view of musicians is titled: Joachim and Exzellenz V. Keudell, Musizierend. This etching was created and printed in 1907. It is pencil signed, the image measures 10 1/2X7 1/2 inches. This etching has thread margins on three sides and the bottom border measures about 1/2 inches wide. It appears to have been printed this way in the style of Whistler..

This is an original plate signed etching by American artist Peter Moran. This image was created and printed in 1885 after a painting by Van Marcke. The platemark measures 5 1/8X7 inches, the image measures 4 1/2X6 1/4 inches. Signed in the plate lower right, "P.Moran, Sc". Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.

This is a finely detailed lithograph, with subtle use of shadows that convey moonlight in this quintessential New England scene.
