This etching is a mystery to us. It is hand signed in pencil lower border but we cannot match the signature with any of our known artists. We think this is 20th century German School. This etching of a young boy, just finishing swimming with his friends. The etching measures 5X3 1/2 inches. Very nice condition printed with a sepia toned ink.

On March 24, 1916 a German Submarine attacked the French passenger steamer called The Sussex which was then beached with the Bow blown off.
