This is a fine original etching by American artist Henry Farrer.  The title is: The Washerwoman.  It was created in 1877, this impression was done on a thin Japan sheet, published by Estes and Lauriat, Boston, 1886,  This impression was plate signed lower left corner.  The image measures 4 1/2X3 1/2 inches.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist  William St. John Harper.  The title is: The Conversation, created and printed in 1886.  The image measures 8X5 3/8 inches.  After the painting by Alfred Stevens.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.

This is an original etching by American artist Henry Farrer 1844-1903.  The title is: Sunset on the East River, N.Y. created and printed in 1879.  This etching is signed lower left in the plate.  The image measures 5X7 3/4 inches.  Printed on a light weight laid type sheet.  A rare view of Costal New York.  A rich impression.

Original etching by American artist and author Joseph Pennell. This is a very early image by this important artist. It is titled: "San Gimignano", it was created and printed in 1883. This etching is signed and dated lower right in the plate, not hand signed. This impression was published in Germany and has the "Original Radirung von J.Pennell" in the lower edge of the plate. The image measures 10 3/8X8 inches, printed on a warm toned wove type paper, very fine condition. The image appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 52. Nice use of plate tone in the forground.

This is a beautiful original etching of a farmer plowing a field with a team of oxen. The image size is 3 1/2 x 5 5/8 inches, 1875, unsigned. A rich impression on a medium weight laid type paper.

Drypoint etching C. 1885. Plate signed and dated in the lower left."The Bridge of Saragossa" inscribed in the lower right. Catalog: Rice 67. Plate measures 4 x 5 7/8 inches on 7 5/8 x 10 3/4 inch wove paper. Printed in brown-toned ink, with plate toning and fine detail.

Etching, image size 14 7/8 x 8 3/4 inches, 1889, published by Klackner, pencil signed. Illustrated in the catalogue "Nineteenth Century American Etchings in the Collection of the Parrish Art Museum" (1987).

Etching, image size 6 3/8 x 9 1/4 inches, 1882, plate initialed l.r. "JHH 1882" and plate signed l.l. "J.W.Hill 73", done after a drawing by the artist's father John William Hill in 1873.

This 1885 etching by F. Leo Hunter of the Old East India Wharf measures 8 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches and is pencil signed by the artist on the lower right.
