This is an unusual underwater view.  An original wood engraving by American artist Leo Meissner.  The title Aquatic World, also known as Submarine World,  Created and printed circa 1940.  The image measures 8X10 inches.  Hand signed and titled in pencil.  Numbered 51/55.  This wood engraving is in fine condition, printed on a thin Japan like sheet.

This is an original etching and aquatint by American artist Samuel Margolies.  This view of a Farm in winter is pencil signed lower right border, printed in an aqua toned ink. The image measures  8 1/4X11 3/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper with a partial watermark.

A fine Luigi Lucioni etching, Elm on the Hill, created and printed in  1948 published by Associated American Artists in New York in an editiion of 250.  This pencil signed impression measures 12 1/4X9 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  The image appears as number 105 in the Embury catalog.

Aphrodite

Etching, image size 9 3/8 x 5 3/8 inches, pencil signed and titled. Hobbs was a well known artist from Ohio who studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago. He traveled extensively through Europe and the US before settling in New Orleans. He won many awards and honors for his work, and spent two summers as a resident at the MacDowell Art Colony in Peterborough, NH.

Nordfeldt, titled: La Rue St Jacques Paris.  This etching was created and printed circa 1910.  The image measures 12 1/2X10 1/2 inches.  hand signed and titled in pencil.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  There are a few pressure creases on the side borders, likely from the original printing press.  Unobtrusive.  Sold originally from Arthur Harlow Co in New York.

This is an original etching by California artist John Winkler.  The title is: Delicatessen Booth, San Francisco, created circa 1920 this etching is hand signed in pencil lower left border.  The image measures 11X6 1/2 inches.  " Winkler studied at the California Institute of Arts and published his first original etching in 1915. During the following eight years he established a large national reputation for his etchings, the great majority being depictions of San Francisco and its environs...Like Whistler, Winkler had the ability to capture life and movement with the utmost simplicity."
