This is an original pencil signed color etching by American artist Troy Kinney.  The title of this work is: "Sophie Pflanz in Cleopatre", it was created and printed in 1917.  The etching is editioned as 10/88...  The image appears in the Kinney catalog as image number 16, the image measures 11 3/8X8 1/2 inches.

This is a drypoint etching from April 1931. Edition of 100. Catalog: BPL 105. Pencil signed in the lower right, pencil numbered 3 out of 100 in the lower left. Plate measures 11 x 12 inches on 14 x 15 inch Rives watermarked wove paper. Chamberlain captures this brightly lit scene with breathtaking detail. Samuel Chamberlain studied architecture at MIT, but interrupted his studies to serve in France during WWI. After the war, Chamberlain worked as an architectural draftsman in Boston before leaving the US to travel throughout France and Europe. During his time overseas, Chamberlain began sketching the countryside and architecture, eventually studying at the Royal College of Art in London. He became well known for his carefully rendered etchings and drypoints of both European and American buildings and cityscapes.

This is an original etching by American artist Troy Kinney.  The title of this work is: "The Rehearsal", it  was created and printed in 1929.  The subject is the Rehearsal of the Gavrilov Ballet Troupe, with Mr. Anesander Gavrilov and Miss Geraldine Spencer.  This etching is pencil signed and inscribed," with best wishes to my friend Dr. Conrad Bevens...?  The image measures 8 1/2X11 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Albert Heckman.  The title is:The Squatters House, Created and printed circa 1935.  This lithograph is pencil signed, titled and inscribed artist proof.  The image measures 8 1/4X12 7/8 inches.  A rare image by this artist.

This is a rare early Louis Orr etching done while he was living in France.  The title is: Hillside, Avignon France.  It was created and printed in 1911 in an edition of 40 impressions.  The image measures 8 7/8X 11 3/4 inches.  Pencil signed lower right border.  A fine study in shadows and highlights.  This etching appears to be in the original frame, but in fine condition.  The castle like building on the hill is: Palais des Papes, the worlds largest gothic building. It was built in the 1300's...

Etching, BPL 114, plate destroyed, Characters from French art culture of 1925; Scene features Heintzleman, left, bending over table, the Parisian model, Kiki who appears in Planche aux Cinq Croquis. To her right, Fredie, subject in Fredie du Cafe "Le Lapin Agile" and of Le Poete, regarded by Heintzleman as the last of the great Montmartre singers. Young man with guitar is Fredie's son.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Anton Schutz.  The title is : Three Giants, a view of the New York Harbor, made and printed in 1927.  The image measures 13 5/8X10 1/16 inches.  This etching is framed.

This is a fine portrait of Beethoven by American artist Isac Friedlander.  Created and printed in 1941, hand signed and titled in pencil.  The image measures 10X9 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.
