This is an original etching by British artist Edward Bouverie Hoyton (1900-1988) The title is: St. Hubert's Chapel, it was created and printed circa 1930's. The image measures 7 7/16X11 1/8 inches, Pencil signed lower right border, printed on a medium weight buff toned laid type paper. A very rich impression. Edward Bouverie- Hoyton was in the same etching class as Paul Drury and Graham Sutherland. They remained friends throughout their lives. His early work came under the spell of Samuel Palmer but he was also influenced by the etchings of artists such as John Crome and John Sell Cotman of the Norwich School.
This is a fine original engraving by French artist Jean Emile Laboureur. It is titled lower left border, Marine aux L Bateaux, it was created and printed in 1923 and is numbered 33/45. The image measures 5 1/2X4 1/2 inches. Hand signed in pencil lower left border, printed on a wove type watermarked paper.

Pencil signed lower right border, printed on a chin collet adhered to a thicker sheet. Printed with a warm toned ink. Gaskell is one of the best of the early British mezzotint artists.

This is an original etching by British Bird Artist Winifred Austen. This image of Phesants is titled: Out Foraging. It is pencil signed and titled, with a stamp in the lower border stating, Made in England. The image measures 7 1/2X 9 7/8 inches. Printed on a medium weight laid type paper. Austen's favorite subjects were wild animals and birds, and she received many commissions to illustrate magazines and books. Her etchings of animals and birds were popular in the 1940s and 1950s.
