This is a  rare etching by American modernist Leonard Baskin.  The title is Oedipus at Collonus, created and printed in 1969 in an edition of 100.  This impression is hand signed, titled and numbered as 36/100.  The platemark measures 23 1/2X17 1/2 inches.  It appears as image number 553 in the Baskin Catalog.  Very nice condition.

This is an original pencil signed etching with drypoint by British artist William Strang.  The subject is: a Portrait of Sir Charles Holroyd, No 2,  it was created and printed in 1909.  Holroyd was a fellow artist and printmaker.  The image measures 17 1/2X11 5/8 inches. This is an original etching with aquatint by French artist Manuel Robbe.  The title is: Dans les Rochers,  created and printed in 1910.  The image measures 17 7/8X23 inches, printed on a medium weight laid type sheet with crown watermark.  Blind stamped lower left border.  A fine impressionistic view of an older couple watching the Fishing fleet set sail at sunrise.

This drypoint etching of the English landscape painter, Charles March Gere, c. 1927, measures 12 x 10 1/4 inches and is pencil signed on the lower right margin. Francis Dodd was born in Wales and trained at the Glasgow School of Art winning the Haldane Scholarship in 1893 enabling him to travel and study in France, Italy and Spain. During WWI he became a portrait war artist producing more than 30 portraits of senior officers. After the war he gained considerable notoriety for his watercolors as well as his printmaking.

Etching, image size 8 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches, 1931, pencil signed. Chahine studied at the Academia Di Belle Arti in Venice and then at the Academy Julien in Paris. He was a very well respected artist in his time, winning many awards and honors for his work. However his prints and paintings are hard to find, many of them were destroyed in a fire at his studio in 1926 or in a later flood in 1942.

This is a fine block print by Kansas artist Clara Colline (1881-1945)  The title written in pencil lower left is: Wind in the Cottonwoods.  THis image done circa 1920 is hand signed in pencil and has an image size of: 9X11 3/4 inches.  Colline was a student of Birger Sandzen.  His influence is clearly seen here.

THis is an oriignal lithograph by American artist Michael Mazur.  This image from his Images from a Locked Ward series created and printed in 1965.  This image is titled, The Occupant", The image and sheet size measures 26X20 inches.  Printed in an edition of 75 published by Impressions Workshop Inc. This lithograph is hand signed in pencil lower border.  Printed on a wove Arches buff toned sheet.  Mazur volunteered to conduct art therapy sessions at the Howard State Institute in Providence R.I. there he  created the series, "Closed Ward"  and later "The Locked Ward".  This is image number 3 from that series.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Kerr Eby.  The title is: Christmas Trees, created and printed in  1940 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 9 1/4X12 3/4 inches.  nicely framed.  This image appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 202.  The scene was most likely taken in Connecticut near his home.
