This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Maurice de Vlaminck (1876-1958)  The title of this etching is: Village de Louvillers-les-Perches.  It was created and printed in 1926 in an edition of 75.  The image measures 8 3/4X12 5/8 inches.  This etching is hand signed in pencil by the artist and published by Marcel Guiot, Paris.  This town is located in the Loire Valley.  This etching is nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a fine line engraving by British artist Stanley Anderson.  The title is: The Reading Room.  This image was created and printed in 1931 and appeared in the 1931 edition of Fine Prints of the Year.  This pencil signed impression has an image size of 6 1/2X8 1/2 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

This is a fine original drypoint etching by Scottish artist David Young Cameron.  The title is: Castle Urquhart, created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 75 impressions.  Hand signed in pencil lower right.  Printed on a fine medium weight laid type sheet with watermark. " Castle Urquhart is situated on the banks of Loch Ness, with magnificent views across the Great Glen towards Inverness and Fort Augustus. Throughout its long existence, the castle has been an important strategic stronghold for anyone wishing to control the area, including both Robert the Bruce and Oliver Cromwell’s armies."

This is a fine original lithograph by French artist Eugene Carriere.  The title is Homage to Tolstoy (Consolation) Created and printed in 1901.  This impression is hand signed lower right border.  The image measures 9X6 inches, printed on a Hand made Japan type laid sheet.  This lithograph is nicely framed with archival materials.  "Eugène Anatole Carrière was a French Symbolist artist of the fin-de-siècle period. Carrière's paintings are best known for their near-monochrome brown palette and their ethereal, dreamlike quality. He was a close friend of Auguste Rodin and his work likely influenced Pablo Picasso's "

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Otto Kuhler.  The image is titled: Steamboat  Wharf, created and printed in 1925.  The image measures 8X10 3/4 inches.  "Although best known for his industrial designs, Otto Kuhler (1894-1977) is well regarded as a fine artist and draftsman. Born in Germany, Kuhler was the sole heir to his family's successful steel business, Kuhler Forges. After WWI however, the business and his family's fortune were in ruins. After living briefly in Dusseldorf, and partly due to the advice of friend Joseph Pennell, he took up etching and emigrated to the States in 1923. Otto Kuhler's etchings of begrimed industry sprang from the same optimistic response to technology that led to his colorful streamlined designs for the Milwaukee, Lehigh and other railroads in the 1930's." This is a fine original etching by American regionalist artist Jackson Lee Nesbitt.  The title is: Evening in March, pencil signed and titled, created and printed in 1942.  The image measures 11 7/8X8 7/8 inches.  Very fine condition, a rich impression printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is an original pencil signed and titled lithograph by American artist Henry Ziegler.  This image is titled: The Last Fight in Old Madison Square Garden, it was created and printed in 1925.  This large image measures 14 1/2X19 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  One of Ziegler's most impressive lithographs.

This is a fine impression of early New York City, created in 1929 by American artist William NcNaulty, the title is The Woolworth Building.  Hand signed in pencil and inscribed as a gift to "Louise and Virgene... De Rochemont 12/33. W.M.N." This etching measures 13 1/4X8 7/8 inches.  A very rich impression done in an ediition of 75.  One of his finest compostions.

This is an original etching with aquatint and drypoint by French artist Louis Legrand.  The title is: L'Habillage (Dressing)   a back stage view done for  the La Petite Classe, a series of 12 images  that Legrand created as a portfolio in  1908.  The image measures 16 3/4X11 3/4 inches.  This was the 4th state of 5 which includes the Remarque of a racehorse, printed in an edition of 30.  Signed in pencil and numbered,14/30.  This image appears in the Arwas catalog as image number 369.  This etching printed on a buff toned sheet is archivally framed.  This image was used as the cover of the Arwas catalog.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist William Lionel Wyllie.  The title is: Old Waterloo Bridge, London, created and printed circa 1920.  The image measures 7 1/2X14 inches.  hand signed in pencil lower left border.  Wyllie was one of the leading British marine artists at the turn of the century .  Nicely framed, last sold by Harrods LTD in London.

This is a fine example of the excellent portraiture by British artist Gerald Brockhurst.  THis portrait created and printed in 1944 is of Mary Mellon, the wife of well known founder of Washington's National Gallery of Art Paul Mellon.  The image measures 10X8 inches, and is hand signed and dated in pencil lower right border.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  A beautiful rich impression, Brockhurst at his best... Reference, Fletcher 81, printed in an edition of 75.

This is an original etching and aquatint by French modernist Georges Rouault.  The title is: Incantation from Le Reincarnations du Pere Ubu, This was the frontispiece The first etching from the series  Le Reincarnations du Pere Ubu, created and printed in 1928.  This is a rare hand signed impression.  An edition of 225.  The image measures 11 3/4X7 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium wight wove type paper.

This is an artists proof etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  The title is Limoges, part of his French Church Series created and printed in 1932.  This etching is hand signed in pencil with an image size of 10 1/16X13 5/8.  This image is inscribed lower right: "Beautiful impression, pulled by D.S. and J.T.A."  Inscribed also as artist proof number III.  Printed on a J. Whatman watermarked laid type paper.  A beautiful impression.
