Drypoint from 1932. Signed in ink below the image. Inscription in lower right reads: "Impression selected for my friend Harold Bailey - E. Blampied" 1/100. Plate size measures 8 3/8 x 11 7/8 on 11 1/2 x 17 1/4 inch laid type paper. A richly inked, atmospheric print.

This is a fine original drypoint etching by Scottish artist David Y. Cameron.  The title of this etching is: Craigievar Castle, It was created and printed in 1908.  The image measures 9 1/2X13 3/4 inches.  It is pencil signed lower right border.  printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Very richly printed.  This image appears in the Rinder catalog as image number 402.  The thired state of three.  The setting is amoung the scenic rolling foothills of the Grampian Mountains south of Alford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

This is an original etching by British artist James McBey.  The title is: Laguna Veneta, it was created and printed in 1924.  The image measures 7X147/8 inches.   Hand signed in sepia ink, Numbered lower left XX.  Fine use of plate tone in the sea and sky.  Printed on an antique laid type paper.  This image appears in the Salaman catalog as image number 73.  Last sold by M. Knoedler and Co in New York.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Maurice de Vlaminck (1876-1958)  The title of this etching is: Village de Louvillers-les-Perches.  It was created and printed in 1926 in an edition of 75.  The image measures 8 3/4X12 5/8 inches.  This etching is hand signed in pencil by the artist and published by Marcel Guiot, Paris.  This town is located in the Loire Valley.  This etching is nicely framed with archival materials.

Colored softground and aquatint from 1925. Numbered 65 in an edition of 300. Catalog: Novak 432. Pencil signed in the lower right, numbered in the lower left. Plate measures 11 5/8 x 15 1/4 inches on 15 1/8 x 19 inch watermarked wove type paper. An atmospheric etching that captures the bleak weather with splashes of color. F. Simon was born in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and traveled extensively throughout Europe, as well as Asia and the U.S. He lived in Paris from 1905-1913, then returned to Prague to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts. Simon was an exceptional painter and printmaker, and is best known for his atmospheric color etchings and aquatints, such as this wintry Paris scene.

This is a very rare etching from a scarce, unpublished plate by Francis Sydney Unwin. The image size is 12 1/8 x 16 inches, 1916, pencil signed; a richly inked impression on a fine cream colored Japan paper. Unwin studied at the Winchester School of Art and the Slade School; he traveled extensively throughout Europe and spent several months in Egypt drawing the tomb interiors for an archaeological expedition. He then settled in London, becoming known for his landscapes and remarkable interior architectural views, such as this finely detailed image of the Albert Hall. Unwin died at the age of 40, after suffering from tuberculosis for much of his adult life.

This is an original etching and aquatint by French modernist Georges Rouault.  The title is: Incantation from Le Reincarnations du Pere Ubu, This was the frontispiece The first etching from the series  Le Reincarnations du Pere Ubu, created and printed in 1928.  This is a rare hand signed impression.  An edition of 225.  The image measures 11 3/4X7 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium wight wove type paper.

This is a fine original etching by French artist and print maker Louis Auguste Lepere.  The subject is Amiens Cathedral, created and printed in 1907.  The pencil signed impression measures 13 11/16X9 5/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.  Very fine condition.  This image appears in the Saunier catalog as image number 344.  Printed in an edition of 150.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist William Lionel Wyllie.  The title is: Old Waterloo Bridge, London, created and printed circa 1920.  The image measures 7 1/2X14 inches.  hand signed in pencil lower left border.  Wyllie was one of the leading British marine artists at the turn of the century .  Nicely framed, last sold by Harrods LTD in London.

This is a fine line engraving by British artist Stanley Anderson.  The title is: The Reading Room.  This image was created and printed in 1931 and appeared in the 1931 edition of Fine Prints of the Year.  This pencil signed impression has an image size of 6 1/2X8 1/2 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

This is an original Arthur Briscoe etching, titiled: "Heavy Canvas", this etching was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 75.  The image is hand signed in pen and ink and editioned in the lower border.  The image measures 13 1/2X8 3/8 inches.  The subject shows four men making fast the crossjack of a four masted barque.  This etching is archivally framed.
