This is an original pencil signed and titled woodengraving by American artist Bernard Brussel-Smith. The title of this work is "Shore Leave", it was created and printed in 1941. It has an image size of 6X4 inches and was printed in an edition of only 50 signed proofs.

Printed on laid-type paper. Pencil signed with an "imp" after his name indicating he was the printer. Inscription in the lower left says "Rose." Image is 11 2/8 x 12 3/8 inches on 11 3/4 x 14 1/2 paper. c. 1910.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Harold Kerr Eby.  The title is: Lobster Fleet, created and printed in 1937.  A fine atmospheric study of a lone fisherman in the foggy morning bay.  This image measures 9 1/2X11 1/2 inches.  Printed in an edition of 100.

This is a fine color woodcut by German artist Martin Erich Phillipp.  This artist known for his color woodblock prints printed in the 1920's in the Arts and Crafts style.  This image of Two Red Parrots is hand signed and titled as " Rote Arar I"..The image measures 9 1/8X6 1/2 inches.  Very richly colored, it looks like a monoprint.  The work of this artist is quite scarce in the USA.  Printed on a handmade Japan type sheet.

This is a hand signed color etching by Czech artist Tavik Frantisek Simon.  The title is: Fishermen in Concarneau, Brittany, created and printed in 1912 in an edition of 300 published by G. Petit in Paris.  The image measures 12X13 1/2 inches.  Numbered 216 near the artists stamp lower border.  This image appears in the Novak catalog as image number 192.

This is a fine early state of the well known etching, Egham Lock,  created and printed in 1859 by British artist Sir Francis Seymour Haden.  This image measures 5 15/16X8 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  this image appears in the Schneiderman catalog as image number 21   iii/x.  Hand signed in pencil.   A fine impression in great condition.

This is a fine original pencil signed and titled etching and drypoint by American sporting artist Roland Clark.  The title is: The Conference, created and printed in 1925.  The image measures 8 3/4X11 3/4 inches.  Fine use of plate tone in the sky.  A rich impression printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  Numbered as 15/62 impressions.

Plate measures 8 x 9 5/8 inches on 9 3/4 x 11 3/8 inch wove type paper. Signed in blue ink in the lower right. Numbered in pencil in the lower left, print number 11 in an edition of 30. Good use of plate tone and a rich drypoint burr. Meyerowitz studied at the National Academy of Design in NY and is best known for his development of producing etchings in color. His work is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Carnegie Institute; National Academy of Design; Harvard University and the Library of Congress.

This is an original etching of the artist's wife, Anais Brockhurst.  It is titled Anais II and was created and printed in 1930 in an edition of 111.  The image measures 9X7 inches.  It is signed in the plate and also signed in pencil lower right.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image appears in the Brockhurst catalog as image number 67.  Very fine condition, a rich impression.

This is a fine original wood engraving by Leo Meissner.  It is titled: Chesapeake Boats, created and printed in 1934.  Hand signed, titled and dated in pencil lower border.  The image measures 10X7 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

The is a beautiful original wood engraving by American artist Leo Meissner.  The title is: Canyon Grandeur, Sabino Canyon, Arizona.  This pencil signed and titled image was created and printed in 1954.  This is numbered as 7/65.  The image measures 7 1/2X8 1/2 inches.  Beautiful condition.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is an original etching with drypoint by British artist Seymour Haden.  The title is Cowdray Castle with Geese.  It was created and printed in 1882, this is the forth state of five.  Hand signed in pencil , printed on a laid type paper.  Titled and dated lower left in the image.  The image measures 6X9 1/2 inches.  This image appears in the Schneiderman catalog as image number 208.

This is a fine original etching by California artist John Winkler.  The title: Fisherman's Home on Telegraph Hill, pencil signed, created and printed circa 1920.  Superb condition.  The image measures6X9 3/4 inches. " Winkler studied at the California Institute of Arts and published his first original etching in 1915. During the following eight years he established a large national reputation for his etchings, the great majority being depictions of San Francisco and its environs...Like Whistler, Winkler had the ability to capture life and movement with the utmost simplicity."
