This is an original hand colored etching by British artist Elyse Ashe Lord.  The title is: K'o Ssu, Swallows and Prunus,it was created and printed circa . 1925.  This etching is hand signed and titled in the lower border in sepia ink.  71/75.  The image measures 12 1/2X11 inches.  Printed on a wove type sheet.  

This is a drypoint etching by French artist Louis Legrand.  The title is : English Bar, from his Album Les Bars, published by Pellet in Paris in 1909.  This impression is from the first state of three with the Remarque of a Woman in Profile.  The image measures 9 3/4X5 5/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil, printed on a Japon type paper.  Numbered as 1/30.

This is an original pencil signed etching with drypoint by British artist William Strang.  The subject is: a Portrait of Sir Charles Holroyd, No 2,  it was created and printed in 1909.  Holroyd was a fellow artist and printmaker.  The image measures 17 1/2X11 5/8 inches. Printed on a thin laid type sheet.  A beautiful impression.

This is a fine original wood engraving by Leo Meissner.  It is titled: Chesapeake Boats, created and printed in 1934.  Hand signed, titled and dated in pencil lower border.  The image measures 10X7 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.

This is an original etching of the artist's wife, Anais Brockhurst.  It is titled Anais II and was created and printed in 1930 in an edition of 111.  The image measures 9X7 inches.  It is signed in the plate and also signed in pencil lower right.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image appears in the Brockhurst catalog as image number 67.  Very fine condition, a rich impression.

This is an original pencil signed and titled woodengraving by American artist Bernard Brussel-Smith. The title of this work is "Shore Leave", it was created and printed in 1941. It has an image size of 6X4 inches and was printed in an edition of only 50 signed proofs.

THis is an oriignal lithograph by American artist Michael Mazur.  This image from his Images from a Locked Ward series created and printed in 1965.  This image is titled, The Occupant", The image and sheet size measures 26X20 inches.  Printed in an edition of 75 published by Impressions Workshop Inc. This lithograph is hand signed in pencil lower border.  Printed on a wove Arches buff toned sheet.  Mazur volunteered to conduct art therapy sessions at the Howard State Institute in Providence R.I. there he  created the series, "Closed Ward"  and later "The Locked Ward".  This is image number 3 from that series.

Etching and drypoint from 1922. Pencil signed in the lower right. One of a series of five etchings from his series "The Arteries of Great Britain." Published by Dickins in 1922, in an edition of 425. Catalog: Dickins 73. Image measures 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches on 9 1/2 x 12 1/4 inch wove type paper. The scene is of the open Swing Bridge, from a vantage point of the High Level Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne. An atmospheric print with selectively wiped plate tone. Walcot was born in Russia, the son of a British father and Russian mother.

This is a great London etching by American artist Clifford Addams, image size 8 7/8 x 7 1/2 inches, c. 1902, edition of 75, inscribed in the plate, "Loci dulcedo nos attinet" (the sweetness of the place holds us), pencil signed and numbered. Clifford Addams grew up outside Philadelphia and studied art in the U. S. before leaving to further his studies in Europe. He traveled extensively throughout Holland, France, Spain, Italy and Britain, and spent several years in London studying etching with Whistler. He later returned to the U. S. and worked out of studios in both New York and London. He was known for his European city scenes, such as this Whistleresque image of a man gazing out over the busy Thames.

This is a finely detailed etching by American artist Max Kuehne.  The scene is: New York from Weehawken, N.J.  It was created and printed circa 1930's.  The image measures 10X13 1/2 inches.  Pencil signed and titled in the lower border.  Printed on a J. Whatman medium weight laid type paper.

Edition of 110. Catalog: Fletcher 194. C. 1927. Printed by Frederick Reynolds. Italian series #11. Pencil signed and dated 1917 in the bottom right. Plate titled in the lower right. Plate measures 11 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches on 16 1/4 x 10 1/4 inch blue laid type paper. This print has plate toning and enchanting linework.
