This is an original pencil signed etching of a woman by French artist Charles L. Courtry (1846-1897) Weve been unable to identify the subject, the etching is hand signed in pencil by the artist lower right. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper. The image measures 17 1/2X14 3/4 inches.

This detailed engraving of the French writer and historian, Charles Jean Francois Henault, was done in 1744 by Jean-Guillaune Moitte after Augustin Saint-Aubin. It measures 16 1/2 x 12 1/8 inches.

Original etching and aquatint Portrait of Maurice Denis by French artist Joseph Roux-Champion. This etching is signed in the plate by Denis and Roux Champion, printed on a medium weight laid type paper. We are unsure as to the date, circa 1930. The image measures 7X9 1/4 inches. Excellent Condition, wide borders, deckeled edges.
No pencil signature on this etching
This 1925 etching of an old woman by the Austrian artist Arthur Paunzer measures 5 7/8 x 4 1/2 inches, plate dated and pencil signed. Paunzer studied at the Academie Julien in Paris and traveled to Italy where he studied art and architecture. His works are included in the Albertina Museum, Vienna, the British Museum, London, Princeton University Library and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
This softground etching by Samuel Prout measures 8 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches and is plate initialed on the lower left. Published in 1814 by T. Palser, London.
