This very fine impression with its deep rich tones measures 11 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches, c. 1930. Presented on cream wove paper, this original drypoint has wide margins with a sheet size of 15 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches and is pencil signed on the lower border. Born in England and educated in Cambridge, Gaskell studied art in London and Italy before studying under Sir Frank Short at the Royal College of Art.
This is a 1963 lithograph of a scene from Colorado. Catalog 618. Published by the Associated American Artists, edition of 250. Pencil signed in the lower right. The plate measures 9 1/2 x 13 on 12 3/4 x 16 3/4 inch wove paper.
An excellent impression that exemplifies his mastery of tone and texture.
Lithograph, image size 6 x 7 1/4 inches, 1858, plate signed and dated. William Morris Hunt was one of the earliest American lithographers. He was also a painter, and studied the French Barbizon style in Europe with Millet, a close friend. Hunt is widely credited with bringing the Barbizon style of painting back to the U.S.
This is an original wood cut by American artist Leo Meissner. This unsigned proof is titled: Blecker Street Follies and numbered as 21/30. The image measures 10X12 1/2 inches. Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet. Very fine condition on this rare image.

This image was originally sold through Associated American Artists in New York. The image measures 5 5/16X9 7/8 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper. Excellent condition hand signed by the artist lower right. This image appears in the BPL catalog as image number 489.

A rare original etching by German Impressionist artist Lesser Ury, image size 6 1/2 x 5 3/ 8 inches, c. 1920, edition of 100, pencil signed. There is a repaired tear along the entire top margin, but it does not affect the image and will be easily covered by a window mat.
Etching, image size 13 5/8 x 9 1/4 inches, plate size 15 x 10 inches, 1884, printed on medium weight laid paper, plate signed "Otto H. Bacher Forest City", "A Wheel Of Three Generations In 1884" on bottom of print. Bacher began etching in Cleveland in 1876 and continued his art in Munich, Paris and Venice.

Plate measures 11 x 12 inches on 14 x 15 inch Rives watermarked wove paper. Chamberlain captures this brightly lit scene with breathtaking detail. Samuel Chamberlain studied architecture at MIT, but interrupted his studies to serve in France during WWI. After the war, Chamberlain worked as an architectural draftsman in Boston before leaving the US to travel throughout France and Europe. During his time overseas, Chamberlain began sketching the countryside and architecture, eventually studying at the Royal College of Art in London. He became well known for his carefully rendered etchings and drypoints of both European and American buildings and cityscapes.
A richly inked original etching of a sunny European city street, this image measures 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, published in 1950 for the Chicago Society of Etchers, pencil signed and inscribed "To my friend J. R. Brownell".
