This drypoint etching by Desboutin measures 8 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches. Created in 1877, this is part of a series of drypoints sketches that the artist did of his close friends.
This is an original wood block print by American artist Mary Watternick Evans. This image of a Train Station has an image size of 5X7. It is hand signed on the back of the sheet which was typical of this artists method. Printed on a thin Japan type paper.
The Danish painter and wood engraver, Aksel Jorgensen, created this 12 5/8 x 8 3/8 inch print in the early part of the 19th century. As a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen he integrated the graphic arts curriculum into its fine arts program attracting many well known illustrators of the day.
