This was the original lithographs from the Panama Canal Series created in 1912 by the American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title of this work is: The Approach to the Canal from the Pacific.  This impression done on a Fabiano watermarked laid paper is hand signed in pencil with collectors annotations in the lower edge of the sheet.  The image measures 16 1/2X 22 inches, on a sheet size of 20 1/2X25 1/2 inches.

This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist George Elbert Burr.  The title is Oaks in Winter, created and printed in 1920, this pencil signed impression measures 9 7/8X6 7/8 inches,  A rich impression with plate tone in the sky and snow.

This is an early impression of the  well known Bullfighting series  titled La Tauromaquia by Spanish artist Francisco Goya.  This image is plate 5 fro the series and is titled: The Courageous Moor, Gazul, Was the first to Fight Bullls.  El animoso moro gazul es el priero que lanceo toros en regla.  the platemark measures 9 3/4X14 inches on a sheet size of 13X17 1/4 inches.  Although  this is an early impression on medium weight laid type paper there is no plate number in the upper corner of the sheet.  A bit of a mystery!  A rich and detailed impression.

This is an original drypoint and etching by French artist Alphonse Legros (1837-1911)  The title of this work is: "Les Faiseurs de Fagots", created circa 1870 this image measures 15X10 7/8 inches, hand signed in pencil lower right border, very fine condition, the image appears in the Bliss catalog as image number 182, ii/xiv, the second state of 14.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Henry Rushbury.  The title is: 

St Pauls in Wartime from the North.  This etching is pencil signed and  was created and  printed in 1941.  The image measures 7 7/8X11 7/8 inches.  Very fine condition  printed on  a medium weight laid type paper.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Charles Adams Platt.  The title is: Buttermilk Channel.  with the Statue of Liberty in the background.  This etching was created and printed in 1889, the image measures 10 3/4X6 5/8 inches.  It appears in the Platt catalog as image number 107.  This etching is lightly toned, framed.

This is an impressive etching and drypoint by American artist William C. McNulty. The title is: "Demolishing the Century Theater, 1931" A great industrial study done in New York City. This etching has an image size of 9X11 1/4 inches. Pencil signed and titled. Done in an edition of 75 proofs.

This is a very fine original etching and drypoint by British artist Sir Francis Seymour Haden. The title of this work is "On the Test", state VI/VIII. This etching was created in 1859 and its subject is one of the famous Trout streams in Hampshire. The image measures 5 15/16X 8 15/16 inches, pencil signed lower right and also signed in the plate. This appears in the Schneiderman catalog as image number 24.

This is a very richly inked original etching by French artist Albert Besnard. The image size is 11 3/8 x 7 5/8 inches, published in 1887 in an edition of fewer than 100 impressions, cat: Coppier- 63, pencil signed. Besnard studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and for the beginning of his artistic career concentrated on a very academic style of painting and composition, before adopting a more impressionistic approach of portraying light and color; later he went to England to study portraiture with Thomas Gainesborough and Joshua Reynolds.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Lawrence Kupferman.  The title of this work is:
"Victorian Carriage House". This etching was created and printed in 1939 and is editioned as 13/100.  The etching is signed and titled in the lower border, the image measures 9 3/4X11 5/8 inches.  

This is an original aquatint etching by American artist Lester G. Hornby.  It is titled: Marabout Tombs, Tunis, 1909, and is described in the plate as: "Evening of the Bal Masque", the image measures 9 1/2X14 1/2 inches, pencil signed lower right corner.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  This is a very scarce etching.  It appears in the Falk catalog as image number 301.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Edmund Blampied.  The title is: Village News. This etching was created and printed in 1931.  It is signed in sepia ink lower border and has the edition noted as 16/100.  The image measures 8 3/4X12 inches.  "Edmund Blampied (1886-1966) was one of the most eminent artists to come from the Channel Islands, yet he received no formal training in art until he was 16 years old. He was noted mostly for his etchings and drypoints published at the height of the print boom in the 1920s during the etching revival."(museum of New Zealand)

This is an original wood block print by American artist Isac Friedlander.  Created circa 1930 this image is titled: "Companions", It is pencil signed and titled in the lower border.  The image measures 11 3/4X9 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Mitau, Latvia. He was arrested in 1906 and imprisoned by Russian authorities for anti- Czarist Political activities from 1906 to 1912. He studied art at the Academy of Rome, Italy from 1913 until 1917. He was a friend of Russian writer Maxim Gorky. Friedlander began his printing career in 1915. In 1917 he repatriated to Russia during the Kerensky regime, but in 1929 Friedlander immigrated to the US with the encouragement of his cousin Joseph Hirshhorn.
