Plate measures 6 1/2 x 8 1/8 inches on 10 1/2 x 13 3/4 inch paper. A sharp, finely detailed etching with rich drypoint burr of daily life on a busy street in Covent Garden Market against the backdrop of St Paul’s Church portico.

This is an original etching and drypoint by Scottish artist David Young Cameron.  This image created in 1932 is titled: Castle Moyle, located on the Isle of Skye.  The image measures 6 7/8X10 7/8 inches, signed in the plate and also hand signed in pencil in the lower border.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet with unicorn watermark.

This is a fine original line engraving by British artist Robert S. Austin.  The title is "Scythes Resting in a Tree",created and printed in 1928, the image measures 5X3 1/2 inches.  Pencil signed by the artist, numbered 11/75.  Robert Sargent Austin was a highly respected illustrator and engraver, sometimes regarded as the last great English engraver. He taught at the Royal College of Art and was eventually elected president of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.

This is a remarkable original etching by Czechoslovakian artist T. F. Simon, depicting the stunning architecture of the Puente Nuevo bridge in Ronda, Spain. The image size is 13 1/4 x 9 1/8 inches, published in 1913 in an edition of 150, cat: Novak-206, numbered in pencil with the artist's stamp lower left, pencil signed lower right. The Puente Nuevo was designed by architect Jose Martin de Aldehuela, and was built over the course of 42 years, from 1751-1793.

Etching is 9 3/8 x 11 7/8 inches on 11 3/8 x 14 5/8 inch wove-type paper, printed by the artist. The work is pencil signed, c. 1910. The Church of St. Sophia, or "Sophienkirche", was the only gothic church in the whole city of Dresden. It was severely damaged in the Dresden bombing in 1945, and later destroyed completely in 1962 by the German Democratic Republic.
Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. He became a major figure in the etching revival, producing more than seven hundred different etchings and drypoints, which he usually printed himself. Menpes was taught etching by James McNeill Whistler and they lived together for some time.

This is an original etching by French artist Louis Legrand.  The title is: Le Bon Bedeau, (The Good Beadle)  It was created and printed in 1905 in an edition of 50.  The image measures 21 1/4X14 1/4 inches.  Pencil signed lower right with the red publishers stamp next to the signature.  Editioned as 8/40.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This 1929 etching by Salomon van Abbe measures 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches, edition of 50, pencil signed and numbered.

This very fine impression with its deep rich tones measures 11 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches, c. 1930. Presented on cream wove paper, this original drypoint has wide margins with a sheet size of 15 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches and is pencil signed on the lower border. Born in England and educated in Cambridge, Gaskell studied art in London and Italy before studying under Sir Frank Short at the Royal College of Art.

This is an original etching and drypoint by British artist Malcolm Osborne.  The title is: L'Oiseau de Bourges, it was created and printed in 1932.  The image measures 9 1/8X7 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower border, signed and dated in the plate.

This is a fine aquatint etching by British artist Percival Gaskell.  The title is: The Lonely Tower, Roman Campagna, it was created and printed in 1924 in an edition of 150.  The image measures 10X14 1/4 inches, hand signed lower border in pencil.   Gaskell was born at Shipley in Yorkshire and educated in Cambridge. He studied art at the Royal College of Art, in Paris, and in Italy.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Henry Rushbury.  The title is: "Old Deal", created in 1920, this etching has an image size of 6 7/8X7 inches.  Pencil signed lower right border, inscribed "30 impressions", this is an early state of three.
