This is a rare early drypoint etching by British artist Stanley Anderson.  The title is: Perivale, a small town outside of London.  This etching was created and printed in 1911.  The image measures 5 3/4X9 5/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower border and titled lower left border.  Printed on a medium weight watermarked with initials, laid type sheet.  Fine use of plate tone in the sky area.

This is a fine hand colored etching by American artist Dorsey Potter Tyson.  This study of a Musician is pencil signed and has an image size of  8X6 inches.  Very nicely framed with an orientalist style frame with French matting.

This is an original pencil signed and numbered etching by American Modernist artist Leonard Baskin.  This image is titled Birdman, one of a series he did on the metamorphosis of a Man from a bird.  This image was created and printed in 1957,  The plate measures 18X12 inches, printed on a heavy weight wove type sheet.  It is numbered as 225/300.

This is a fine line engraving by French artist Jean Emile Laboureur.  The title of this work is Le Retour de la Peche.  Created and printed circa 1920's this image measures 4 X 3/3/4 inches.  Hand signed and numbered in pencil in the lower border. 27/55.    Though Laboureur was initially inspired by Lautrec and the Primitivism of Paul Gaugin, he is considered to be the first printmaker to be strongly influenced Cubism. By the end of World War I, the artist had gained wide acclaim as a book designer and illustrator. The artist died on June 16, 1943 in Pénestin, France.

This transfer lithograph by Arthur Davies measures 16 5/8 x 11 9/16 inches in an edition of 25 or less. Created in 1921, it is signed by the artist on the lower margin. Printed on medium weight paper, it is #189 in the Czestochowski catalog. Davies was known for his unique decorative style, often visualized in a fantasy world of female figures. One of the most respected and successful American artists, he was a member of the "Eight" and was the principal organizer of the 1913 Armory Show.

This fine impressionistic mezzotint was created by British artist Percival Gaskell.  The title is Dawn, it was created and printed in 1924.  The image measures 8X9 7/8 inches, printed with a warm toned ink on a heavy weight wove type paper.  Hand signed lower border in pencil by the artist.  Gaskell was born at Shipley in Yorkshire and educated in Cambridge. He studied art at the Royal College of Art, in Paris, and in Italy.

This is an original etching by British artist Edward Bouverie Hoyton (1900-1988)  The title is: St. Hubert's Chapel, it was created and printed circa 1930's.  The image measures 7 7/16X11 1/8 inches,   Pencil signed lower right border, printed on a medium weight buff toned laid type paper.  A very rich impression.  Edward Bouverie- Hoyton was in the same etching class as Paul Drury and Graham Sutherland. They remained friends throughout their lives. His early work came under the spell of Samuel Palmer but he was also influenced by the etchings of artists such as John Crome and John Sell Cotman of the Norwich School.
