This 1911 drypoint etching by Frank Short measures 9 3/4 x 13 3/4 inches, pencil signed, cat: Hardie-350.

This is one of the most important works by American artist Troy Kinney (1871-1938)  This artist was best known for his studies of Ballet and Modern Dance.  The title of this work is: Lopokova and Nijinski in Les Sylphides.  It was created and printed in 1916, This hand colored etchings is numbered as 76/82.  The image measures 12 1/8X9 7/8 inches.  The etching is hand signed in pencil lower left border.  Very fine condition, the colors are richer than our image suggests.  The image appears in the 1020 Kinney catalog as image number 11.

This is a fine color aquatint by French artist Bernard Boutet de Monvel ..  It is titled Fillette a L'Ombrelle, created and printed in 1910.  The image measures 10 3/4X6 7/8 inches.  Signed in block letters in pencil lower right border.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  Numbered as 3/10.

This is a rare original drypoint etching by American artist Gifford Beal.  The subject is one of his Circus series, taken from the Ringling Brothers circus when it came to New York City..  This image is pencil signed and measures 8 3/4X122 inches.  It is numbered as 100 imp.   This fine etching came to us from the family  of the artist.

This is an original etching by French artist Charles Francois Daubigny, the image is plate signed and titled: Le Marais, (The Marsh)  it was created and printed in 1851  and is from the third state of six, iii/vi  This image appears in the Frankel catalog as image number D-84.  A fine impression on a chine collet adhered to a thicker wove type base sheet.  This is the edition with title, artist and printer in the lower border.  

This is an original drypoint etching by American Sporting artist Aiden Lassell RIpley.  This etching is pencil signed, titled and dated by the artist.  The title is Pheasant Meadow, it was created and printed in 1937.  The image measures 7X9 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  A fine and rich impression with plate tone in the sky and foreground.

This is a beautifully energetic original etching with drypoint by French artist Hermine David. The image size is 9 7/8 x 8 1/8 inches, published in 1927 in a small edition of 40, pencil signed and numbered. A rich impression on a medium weight watermarked wove type paper. Hermine David was born and raised in Paris and at the age of 16 was accepted into the Ecole Des Beaux Arts, later going on the study at the Academy Julien. She was a well known painter and printmaker and was very active in the thriving artist community in Paris in the early 20th century. She was married to fellow artist Jules Pascin for several years, but in 1920 the couple divorced and David set up her own studio in Montparnasse. She went on to have a long successful career as an artist and illustrator and was awarded the Legion of Honor in 1932.

This is an original hand colored etching by British artist Elyse Lord.  The title of this image is Bird with Hydrangea.  Created and printed circa 1930 in and edition of 75.  This image is hand signed, numbered 58/75 and titled: "Chinese".  The image measures 11 1/4X12 1/4 inches.  Printed on a thin japan type sheet.

This is a fine drypoint and etching by French impressionist etcher, Alphonse Legros.  This image was created and printed in 1889, hand signed in pencil, printed on a medium  weight wove type paper.  The image measures 6 7/8X9 1/2 inches.  A fine rich impression. Catalog R.105.

This is an early original etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  The title is: The Pig Pen, La Parcherie, created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 75.  Printed by Frederick Reynolds.  The image measures 4 5/8X11 7/8 inches. Hand signed in pencil lower border.  A rich impression.  This image appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 83.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Stephen Parrish.  The title is: Portsmouth, NH,  this etching was created and printed in  1881.  The image measures 7 7/8X13 3/4 inches.  This image appears in the Parrish catalog as image number 46, signed, dated and titled in the plate.  This etching is glued down between boards, from the 19th century,  Light even toning to the sheet.
