This is an original hand signed etching by American artist leslie Cope (1913-2002)  The title lower left is Going Home, it was created and printed in 1949.  The image measures 8X9 3/4 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Cope was a member of the Prairie Printmakers Group.

This is an original etching of the dancer Pavlowa taken from the Carmen Ballet.  This etching was created and printed in 1919.  It is pencil signed and has the edition as 8/65.  The image measures 12X9 5/8 inches.  Printed on a heavy weight wove type paper.

This is an original color etching by Austrian artist Hans Figura.  It is a view of the Tower Bridge on the Thames in London.  The image measures 8 3/4X12 1/4 inches.  This etching is hand signed in pencil in the lower right border.  Very nice condition.  "Hans Figura (Austrian, 1898-1978) noted painter and etcher who was well known for his aquatint etchings on paper or satin of European and American landscape and cityscape scenes, as well as paintings of landscape & cityscape scenes, Tyrolean Alp scenes of villages & chalets, street scenes, harbor & marine scenes ."

This is a rare original etching by American 19th century etcher, Stephen Parrish.  The title is: In the Meadows, this etching was created  and  printed in  1880.  Hand signed in pencil lower right border, this image of a costal farm has an image size of 4 1/4X7 1/4 inches.  There are a couple of repairs in the border area, not in the image area.  This image has the artist's number of 23, meaning it was the 23rd etching that he created.  Printed in a sepia toned ink.

This is an original etching by British artist Percival Gaskell.  The title is: Penmaen Pool Bridge, North Wales.  It is hand signed in pencil, the image measures 5X6 3/4 inches.  "Penmaenpool toll bridge is a wooden toll bridge built in 1879 to replace a ferry crossing. It links the A493 running along the south bank of the Mawddach to the A496 running along the north."

This is an original etching by French artist Theodule A. Ribot.  The tile is: Le Dejeuner des Cuisiniers, it was created and printed circa 1865.  Translated it reads: (The Cooks' Lunch, Culinary Scene # 5)  "is the fifth scene from a set of original etchings portraying the life in the kitchen's of  a Parisian restaurant.  Published by Cadart, Paris.  The image measures 8 1/4X11 1/4 inches.  Plate signed.

This is an original wood engraving by American artist Hebert Waters.  The title is Waters Calves.  It is pencil signed lower border, printed with a blue toned ink.  The image measures  4 1/4X3 1/2 inches.

This is an original wood engraving by American artist Louis Hechenbleikner.  The image is titled: Piete, it was created and printed circa 1933, hand signed in pencil, and inscribed "To Margaret Eouster 1938"  The image measures 8 1/2X6 1/4 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  A beautiful impression, richly inked.

This is an original wood engraving by American artist William Hezlep.  The title is: The Pratt House, Sandwich, Mass, it is pencil signed and titled, and dates from 1948.  The image measures 9 1/2X 6 3/4 inches.  Printed on a light weight wove type paper.

This is a fine original etching by German artist Ferdinand Schmutzer.  This interior view of musicians is titled: Joachim and Exzellenz V. Keudell, Musizierend.  This etching was created and printed in 1907.  It is pencil signed, the image measures 10 1/2X7 1/2 inches.  This etching has thread margins on three sides and the bottom border measures about 1/2 inches wide.  It appears to have been printed this way in the style of Whistler..

This is an original etching by American artist Gottlob Briem 1899-1972.  The subject titled is: Tenement, Pittsfield, Vermont.  This etching created and printed circa 1940 has an image area of 5X11 1/4 inches, hand signed and titled in pencil printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Extensive use of plate tone in the sky and land.  This etching was given to the former owner by the artist in Vermont.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Maxim B. Gottlieb.  This litho is hand signed and titled in pencil and numbered 15/20.  The image measures 7 3/4X9 3/8 inches.  The image printed on a medium weight wove type sheet was created and printed circa 1940.  Gottlieb was a well known teacher.  He studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, His works were frequently shown in Philadelphia.

This is a fine original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Gordon H. Grant.  The title is Home Port, created and printed in 1940, published by Associated American Artists in New York.  The edition was 232.  The image measures 9X11 1/2 inches.  Clearly signed lower border, beautiful condition.  

Gordon Hope Grant was born in San Francisco and educated in Scotland. After Scotland Hope studied at the Heatherly and Lambeth Art School in London and returned to San Francisco where he worked as an illustrator for local newspapers until 1896, when he moved to New York as an illustrator.

Later in life Grant lived on Rocky Neck, Gloucester, MA for 20 years. Here he focused on the harbor and its surroundings for much of his work. 

A member of numerous professional societies, his work is held in important collections nationwide, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. 

This is a pencil signed etching by Charles Adams Platt, created and printed in 1882 the image is titled: A Provincial Fishing Village.  The image mesures 2 3/4X4 7/8 inches.  Printed with sepia toned ink.  Signed and dated in the plate.
