This is a fine etching with drypoint by British artist D.Y. Cameron.  The subject here is Notre Dame Dinant, created and printed in 1907, this is the second state of three.  Hand signed in pencil,  first sold through Arthur Harlow in New York.  The image measures 13 1/2X6 3/4 inches.  The sheet is laid down on a support sheet, borders are 1/4 inches wide all around.

This is a fine line engraving by French artist Jean Emile  Laboureur.  The title of this work is La Photographe, it was created and printed in 1923.  This impression is numbered 40/55.  The image measures 4 3/4X3 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Hand signed in pencil lower left border.   Though Laboureur was initially inspired by Lautrec and the Primitivism of Paul Gaugin, he is considered to be the first printmaker to be strongly influenced Cubism. By the end of World War I, the artist had gained wide acclaim as a book designer and illustrator. The artist died on June 16, 1943 in Pénestin, France

This is an original pencil signed and titled drypoint etching by French artist Edgar Chahine.  The title of this work is Nina, Venise it was created and printed in 1923.  This imagre appears in the Tabanelli catalog as image number 368.  A fine impression printed on a toned chine-colle adhered to a thicker supporting sheet.  The image measures 12 1/4X8 1/4 inches.

This framed lithograph by Engelmann after Vernet, measures 17 x 10 3/4 inches. It is plate signed and titled on the lower margin. Godefroy Engelmann was born in 1788 in Mühlhausen, France and trained in Switzerland and France at La Rochelle and Bordeaux. He studied painting and sketching in Jean-Baptiste Regnault’s atelier in Paris. In the summer of 1814 he traveled to Munich, Germany to study lithography and is largely credited with bringing lithography to France.

This is an original etching with aquatint by French impressionist Edward Manet .  The title is Theodore De Banville Facing Left, 1874.  This image was intended to be an illustration for his Les Ballades series.  This image measures 9 3/8X6 1/4 inches.  This impression was pulled from the cancelled plate in the early 20th century.  Printed on a Arches laid type paper.  This image appears in the Manet catalog as image number 64.  Théodore Faullain de Banville (14 March 1823 – 13 March 1891) was a French poet and writer. His work was influential on the Symbolist movement in French literature in the late 19th century.

This is one of the most impressionistic mezzotint studies created by British artist Sir Francis Seymour Haden.  It is titled: "Grayling Fishing", it was created and printed in 1897.  It is state II/V.  This is a beautiful impression but does have a long touched up scratch on the right side of the composition.  Pencil signed,  by Haden and also signed by Golding, his printer.  There are printing instructions on the lower left of the border by Golding.  The image measures 7 1/2X11 3/4 inches.

This finely printed wood engraving by Surendorf measures 8 3/4 x 10 3/8 inches. It is matted and framed which measures 15 x 16 inches. The title, edition number and signature is in pencil on the lower margin. This strong impression is in excellent condition. Surendorf studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League in NYC. He was a full member of the California Society of Etchers and the San Francisco Art Association. His works are included in the collections of the Achenbach Foundation in San Francisco, the Smithsonian Institute and the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
