This is an original mezzotint by European artist Wallerand Vaillant (1623-1677) This is a portrait of a woman of wealth, it was created and printed circa 1670. The image measures 12 1/2X10 1/2 inches. It is plate signed in the lower right border. Vaillant was one of the first old master printmakers to use the technique of mezzotint. Printed on an early laid type paper.

This is a rare original lithograph by Chicago artist Helen Noel.  The image is hand signed and titled in pencil: Rhythm, created mid 1940's.  The image measures 11X11 3/4 inches.  Numbered as 6/10.  Some minor condition issues, unobtrusive.  A fine view of Dancers in a music hall.

This is an original hand colored lithograph by British artist David Roberts.  The subject is: Grand Approach to the Temple of Philae, Nubia, created and printed in 1846 as part of his Holy Land series.  This image is signed and titled in the plate with an image area measuring 13 1/2X20 inches.  Framed, some foxing marks in the sheet.  Very rich color.

This is an original hand colored lithograph by British artist David Roberts.  The subject is: Ruins of Baalek, Heliopolis, Egypt, Created and printed in  1839.  This image measures 13 3/8X19 1/2 inches.  Signed and titled in the plate.  This litho was created by Louis Haghe and published by E.G. Moon as plate 77 of his Holy Land series.  This lithograph is in fine condition, matted and framed.

Signed and numbered in ink. Plate signed and dated in the lower right. C. 1921. Plate measures 7 3/8 x 12 7/8 on 8 3/4 x 15 inch laid type paper. Catalog: Hardie 213. Print 8 in an edition of 76. Born into poverty, McBey was primarily self-taught, becoming a very well respected artist and leading figure of the British Etching Revival. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, America and the Middle East, creating remarkable etchings of the places he visited. This print has a unique perspective as well as a rich drypoint burr.

This is an original wood engraving by American artist Herbert Waters.  The title is: Arden Falls, Early Spring, created and printed in  1969 in an edition of 65 impressions.  This large image measures 5 1/2X15 3/4 inches.  Pencil signed, titled and numbered as 32/65.  Very fine condition, rich inking, incredible detail.  Arden Falls on the Tygart River  is in West Virginia .

Summer in the Mountains, a fine early wood engraving by American artist Herbert Waters.  This image is pencil signed, titled and numbered as ed. 100..THe title is:  Summer in the Mountains, created and printed circa 1950.  This image measures 5 1/4X8 1/2 inches.  " Herbert Ogden Waters was born in Shantou, China, on November 15, 1903. The son of missionaries, he attended high school in Shanghai. Waters came to the United States to attend college, graduating from Denison University in 1926. He continued his studies at the Pennsylvania Museum School of Industrial Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Harvard University."

This is a finely detailed wood engraving by American artist Asa Cheffetz.  This image titled: Midsummer, Vermont was created and printed in 1936 as the presentation print of the Woodcut Society Kansas City.  Printed in an edition of 200.  This hand signed and titled image measures 4 3/4X6 1/4 inches.  This image is in beautiful condition in Society's Presentation folder.
