This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Alphonse Legros (1837-1911)  The title of this work is: La Ferme De Labbaye (farm at the monastery)  Created and printed circa 1880, this image measures 8 1/2X11 1/8 inches.  Hand signed and titled in pencil.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper with a partial watermark.

Etching after a painting by J. W. Carmichael, image size 17 3/4 x 27 1/4 inches, published in London Feb. 17th 1871 by L. Brall & Sons, period frame.

This is a fine example of his Spanish Church Series by American artist John Taylor Arms.  The title is: Puerta Del Obispo, Zamora (The Bishop's Door, Zamora)  This etching was created and printed in 1933.  This image printed on a grey toned, watermarked, laid type paper measures 12 1/2X7 1/8 inches.  It is inscribed "to my friends, mr. and mrs Andrew Daglish"  (The British printmaker and his wife)  The beautifully detailed image appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 266.

Print 61 in an edition of 75. Signed in the lower left, editioned in the lower right. Plate initialed and dated "1926" in the lower right. Second state. Catalog: Laboureur 323. The image depicts the cliffs along the coast of Penestin, France. Plate measures 9 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches on 15 x 9 5/8 inch watermarked wove type paper. Collector's stamp on back. This print has very fine engraved lines and a very whimsical style. Laboureur studied at the Academie Julian under Auguste Lepere before traveling extensively throughout Germany, Italy and Greece. He returned to Paris in 1910, just when Cubism was being explored, and fully embraced it, incorporating it into his distinct style. He founded the Société des Peintres-Graveurs Indépendants in 1923 and its members included Braque, Dufy, Vlamnick, Laurencin and Segonzac.

Plate measures 10 x 7 3/4 inches on 16 1/4 x 12 1/8 inch watermarked laid type paper. State V/VIII. One of his six final plates, later chosen for publication in the review "L'Art" in 1904, volume LXIII. Catalog: Melot 122. Circa 1877. Printed in the lower right: "Ch. Daubigny. del. et. sc", in the lower right: "F. Lienard. Imp. Paris."

This is a fine pencil signed lithograph by French impressionist Edmond Francois Aman-Jean.  This image measures 13 3/8X14 5/8 inches.  Very fine condition, printed on a wove type paper.  The subject is Mile Moreno  who played in  the Comedie Francaise show this image was created and printed in  1898

This is a rare etching by American artist of the Southwest, George Elbert Burr.  The title is: Whirlwinds, Mojave Desert, California no. 2.  It was created and printed circa 1930.  This pencil signed and titled etching measures 8X10 inches.  This appears in the Burr catalog as image number 281.

This is a fine collaboration between Kerr Eby and John Taylor Arms.  This image is titled; Medieval Pageantry, it was created and printed in 1933 in an edition of 100, 50 to Arms and 50 to Eby.  The image measures 12 5/8X8 5/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower right by both artists.  This image appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 179.  The subject is Sainte Radegonde in Poitiers, France.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Charles Adams Platt.  The title of this work is "Pier at Larmor".  It was created and printed in 1885.  The image measrues 14 1/8X8 1/2 inches.  One of a series of Dutch etchings that he created during this period of travel in Europe.  This is included in the Platt catalog as image number P-55.  Framed.

This is a fine modernist wood engraving by American artist John P. Heins (1896-1969)  This wood engraving was created and printed 1936 in an edition of about 28, created for the WPA in NYC.  The image measures 5 7/8X7 3/4 inches.  This is a rare unstamped proof purchased from the artist's estate.

This is an original pencil signed color aquatint etching by Austrian artist Tavik F. Simon.  The title of this work is: Saint Nicholas Market in Staromestske Namesti, which was part of his  Prague series, created and printed in 1916.  The edition was 225 impressions.  Printed on a medium weight arches watermarked wove type paper. The image measures 12 5/8X15 1/2 inches.  Very fine condition.  This image appears in the Novak catalog as image number 268.
