Plate signed and dated 1920. Signed "Lumsden imp" indicating that the artist printed it himself. A skillfully done portrait with a rich drypoint burr. Plate measures 5 7/8 inches x 8 1/4 inches on 9 1/4 x 11 1/8 inch thin watermarked laid type paper. The subject is the Reverend Nathaniel Royds, the father-in-law of the artist.

This beautiful etching by Luigi Lucioni measures 6 5/8 x 9 inches and is pencil signed, edition of 163, 1939, AAA label included, cat: Embury #46. Lucioni was known for his remarkably detailed etchings of the New England landscape that he could bring to life and gained worldwide attention as one of the great Regionalist artists.

This is an original etching by British Bird Artist Winifred Austen.  This image of Phesants is titled: Out Foraging.  It is pencil signed and titled, with a stamp in the lower border stating, Made in England.  The image measures 7 1/2X 9 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Austen's favorite subjects were wild animals and birds, and she received many commissions to illustrate magazines and books. Her etchings of animals and birds were popular in the 1940s and 1950s.

This is a fine Japanese Triptych by well known 19th century artist Utagawa Sadahide.  The title is: The Daimyos Procession, created and printed circa 1850.  This three panel woodblock measures 14 1/2X28 3/4 inches.  It is framed.  Utagawa Sadahide ( , 1807 c.18781879), also known as Gountei Sadahide ( ), was a Japanese artist best known for his prints in the ukiyo-e style as a member of the Utagawa school. His prints covered a wide variety of genres; amongst his best known are his Yokohama-e pictures of foreigners in Yokohama in the 1860s, a period when he was a best-selling artist. He was a member of the Tokugawa shogunate's delegation to the International Exposition of 1867 in Paris.[1]
