This is a pencil signed wood engraving by American artist Barry Moser.  It is from his series, Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found there.  Published by Pennyroyal Fine Press.  The image measures 3.5X2 inches.  On a large sheet measuring 16 1/2X10 3/4 inches.  Printed on a fine wove type sheet.

This is an original Sir Frank Short etching titled: A Dutch Greengrocerie, created and printed in 1889.  Hand signed in pencil by Short as well as by his printer Goulding.  Printed on a thin laid type sheet the image measures 5X7 7/8 inches.  Printed with a warm toned ink.  This image appears in the Hardie catalog as image number 237.

This is a fine original etching by American Ex Pat, Mary Cassatt.  The title is: Looking into the Hand Mirror, No. 3.  It was created and printed in 1905, done in drypoint on an antique thin laid type paper, unsigned as typical of this image.  The image measures 8 3/4X5 1/4 inches.  This image appears in the Breeskin catalog as image number 202.  Very light toning to the sheet, some imperfections in the paper from when it was produced, unobtrusive .  A fine impression of this well known image.  "Mary Stevenson Cassatt was an American painter and printmaker. This is an original woodcut print by American artist Winifred Milius Lubell.  This print is pencil signed, dated and titled by the artist lower border.  Titled The Artist, created and printed in 1937, this is a very rare hand signed impression.  The image printed on a very thin Japan type sheet measures 9 1/4X5 3/4 inches.  A little light rubbing to part of the signature but overall very nice condition.

This is an original signed watercolor painting by American artist Gifford Beal.  This composition of Blue Flowers measures 16X20 inches, signed lower left.  It came to us in what appears to be the original natural oak frame.  This painting was given to us directly from the family of the artist.

This is an original oil on canvas painting by American artist Gifford Beal.  The image is titled on the back on the original  label from Kraushaar Galleries in New York.  Flowers in a Paper.  The painting is initialed lower right "G.B."  The canvas measures 10X12 inches, it came to us from the Beal family in the original hand carved Frame with the D.Matt label on the back.  The painting is quite bright with some texture in the flowers. The frame itself measures 20X17 1/2 inches.

This is an original pencil signed and numbered etching by American Modernist artist Leonard Baskin.  This image is titled Birdman, one of a series he did on the metamorphosis of a Man from a bird.  This image was created and printed in 1957,  The plate measures 18X12 inches, printed on a heavy weight wove type sheet.  It is numbered as 225/300.

This is a fine impressionist landscape painting by American artist John Joseph Enneking.  The subject is a Fall Twilight landscape.  It is signed Enneking lower right.  The painting measures 22X30 inches.  Relined but in very presentable condition. John J. Enneking (1841-1916) "John Joseph Enneking, a man ahead of his time, had a stylistic foot in both the pre-impressionist and impressionist worlds of the late nineteenth century. An 1873 sketch of Madame Monet bears evidence of his work as perhaps America’s earliest impressionist painter. But he also knew Edouard Manet (1824-1898), and studied with the great French Barbizon teacher Charles-Francois Daubigny (1817-1878), as well as with Eugene Boudin (1824-1898)." (Vose)

Balthazar.  The subject is: The Wadsworth Barn in Hartford.  Created and printed in 1945.  Hand signed in pencil and editioned as 24/100  The image measures 7 7/8X 10 1/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  This image was  the 1949 Presentation print published by the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.  An early larger image was created a few years earlier.
