This is an original etching by American artist Frank Benson. The title is: Boats at Dawn. It was created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 150. The image measures 7 7/8X10 7/8 inches. Hand signed in pencil. This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 190. This etching printed on a laid type sheet is in very fine condition.
Oil on panel, 11 x 16 inches, cradle backing, signed lower right, in an ornate period gilt frame. A very well regarded artist of the French Realism movement, Emile Lambinet was born in Versailles and studied with Horace Vernet and John Baptiste Camille Corot. Both of these artists greatly influenced Lambinet's mature style of painting, as can be seen in this image, with the exacting details and bright atmosphere of Vernet and the subtle color palette with just a few accents of saturated color of Corot. Lambinet showed his work regularly at the Paris Salon, winning medals in 1843, 1853 and 1857, and in 1867 was made a Chevalier of the Legion de'Honnuer. Today Lambinet's paintings can be found in many museums worldwide, with the largest collection of his work at the Musee Lambinet in the artist's hometown of Versailles. (Price reduced)

This is a beautiful landscape with a shepherd and his sheep set against a majestic mountain background, in an ornate period frame. John Fullwood exhibited at the 1877 Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Show. The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, established in 1821, was highly influential during the Pre-Raphaelite and Arts and Crafts periods. Its members included some of the most significant figures in English art, and presidents during the period included artists of the stature of Edward Burne-Jones, William Morris, John Everett Millais, Frank Brangwyn, and Lord Leighton.

This is an atmospheric marine etching by J. Henry Hill, after the painting by Otis Weber. The image measures 14 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches, published in 1886 by Klackner, New York, pencil signed on the lower right margin. Hill came from a family of artists and became a well known landscape and marine painter keeping with the pre-raphaelite tradition, influenced by John Ruskin and David Johnson.

This is a very rare original etching by French artist Charles Emile Jacque. The title of this work is: "The Large Sheepfold (La Grande Bergerie)" It was created and printed in 1859 with an image that measures 15 1/4X20 7/8 inches. One of his largest etchings. This is the second of two states with the edition of 129. This image is made up of etching and drypoint and according to the catalog there is also some burin work in the image. Printed on a wove type paper, this etching was originally sold by Kennedy gallery in New York. There was a partial label on the back. This etching is pencil signed lower right, "Ch Jacque".....
