This is a fine original etching by American artist Edward C. Smith, signed in pencil and dated as 1943. The image measures, 6 7/8 x 11 inches, pencil signed l.r. and titled l.l., "Volga River Boats".

This is an original Ex Libris book plate, pencil signed by Jozef Menyhart(1901-1976), This wood engraving done circa 1940, measures  an image size of 3 1/4X2 3/4 inches.

Oil on canvas, sight size 9 1/4 x 15 1/2 inches, c. 1900, signed l.r., inscription on the back reads "Near Aber, North Wales". This is a beautiful landscape with a shepherd and his sheep set against a majestic mountain background, in an ornate period frame. John Fullwood exhibited at the 1877 Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Show. The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, established in 1821, was highly influential during the Pre-Raphaelite and Arts and Crafts periods. Its members included some of the most significant figures in English art, and presidents during the period included artists of the stature of Edward Burne-Jones, William Morris, John Everett Millais, Frank Brangwyn, and Lord Leighton.

Watercolor, image size 14 1/4 x 18 1/4 inches, laid down on board, unsigned but identification of location on back in French which indicates it's Cascade Flumen near Saint Claude, a small town in France.

This is an original drypoint etching by American artist Chauncey F. Ryder.  The title is: French Hill,  it was created and printed in 1941 for the Albany Print Club.  This one is inscribed as AP, artist's proof.  The image measures 10 1/2X13 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Hand signed and titled in pencil.

Drypoint etching, image size 7 7/8 x 4 7/8 inches, edition of 100, 1919, Hardie 168, printed on wove paper, pencil signed with artist's blindstamp. This image is considered one of the artist's finest works.
Housed in a fine arts and crafts style gilt frame.

This is an atmospheric marine etching by J. Henry Hill, after the painting by Otis Weber. The image measures 14 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches, published in 1886 by Klackner, New York, pencil signed on the lower right margin. Hill came from a family of artists and became a well known landscape and marine painter keeping with the pre-raphaelite tradition, influenced by John Ruskin and David Johnson.

This is a very rare original etching by French artist Charles Emile Jacque.  The title of this work is: "The Large Sheepfold (La Grande Bergerie)"  It was created and printed in 1859 with an image that measures 15 1/4X20 7/8 inches.  One of his largest etchings.  This is the second of two states with the edition of 129.  This image is made up of etching and drypoint and according to the catalog there is also some burin work in the image.  Printed on a wove type paper, this etching was originally sold by Kennedy gallery in New York.  There was a partial label on the back.  This etching is pencil signed lower right, "Ch Jacque".....

Etching, aquatint, and drypoint. IV/VII state. April 1st, 1908. Catalog: Arwas 363. Seven states. Plate signed in the upper right, pencil signed and numbered in the lower right. Collector's stamp in the lower right. Numbered 89 in an edition of 100. Image size measures 15 3/4 x 11 1/4 inches on 20 1/4 x 14 1/4 inch wove type paper. A dramatic, ethereal print with a wide tonal range, using light to convey that the dancer is about to go onstage.

This is one of the finest works by John Taylor Arms etching and aquatint.  It was created and printed in 1940 as image number 1 of his Scandinavian Series.  Pencil signed twice, dedicated to William Schaldach, lower border.  The image measures 7 9/16X13 9/16 inches.  It appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 346.  It is the third state of three from the edition of 330 impressions.  Printed by David Strang.  This image won 5 prizes between 1941-1948,  Incredible detail, nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a very fine painting of a man and his dog fishing. Oil on canvas, 18 x 26 inches, c. 1880, signed in the lower left corner,by Francois Vuagnat. Francois Vuagnat was born in Geneva in 1826. and died in 1910. He was a well known Artist and Photographer. Housed in a 19th century frame with gold liner. A fine scene with the man's trusty companion awaiting dinner.
