This is an original engraving by French artist Jean-Emile Laboureur (1877-1943)  The title is: La Promenade Sur Le Port, it was created and printed 1933 and was used as the presentation print for the Print Club of Cleveland.  In an edition of 235.  This engraving is hand signed in pencil lower left border, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is an original etching by American artist Harold Kerr Eby.  The title is: Early Plowing  also known as (Spring Plowing).  This impression is a trial proof, hand signed in pencil.  The image measures 7 1/16X10 1/16 inches.  It was published in an edition of 75 impressions.  This image appears in the Ebay catalog as image G-154.

This is a fine drypoint etching on copper by American artist Frank Benson.  The title is Rising Geese, it was created and printed in 1924 in an edition of 150, printed on Whatman Paper.  The image measures 6 7/8X8 3/4 inches.  This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 238

This is a fine original etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  This etching was part of his Panama Canal Series created and printed in 1912.  This pencil signed impression measures 9 3/8X12 1/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight, watermarked laid type paper.  Very nice original condition.  This image appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 625.

Etching and drypoint from 1922. Pencil signed in the lower right. One of a series of five etchings from his series "The Arteries of Great Britain." Published by Dickins in 1922, in an edition of 425. Catalog: Dickins 73. Image measures 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches on 9 1/2 x 12 1/4 inch wove type paper. The scene is of the open Swing Bridge, from a vantage point of the High Level Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne. An atmospheric print with selectively wiped plate tone. Walcot was born in Russia, the son of a British father and Russian mother.

This lovely atmospheric image by William Wyllie measures 4 7/8 x 12 7/8 inches, pencil signed on the l.l. and created c. 1920. This is a view of Greenich from the Isle of Dogs with a view of the Royal Navel Academy on the left with the domes of the Royal Observatory high in the background. Wyllie was a well known marine painter and printmaker, studying at the Heatherley School of Fine Art and then at the at the Royal Academy. At the age of 18, Wyllie won the Turner Gold Medal for his painting "Dawn After A Storm". He went on to have a long artistic career, specializing in paintings and etchings of the sea and the city of London. In this etching, Wyllie uses remarkably delicate lines and subtle tones to create an atmospheric image in this busy harbor scene.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title is The Debacle of De Lesseps, Panama.  This was part of his Panama Canal series that Pennell created in 1912, showing the construction of the Canal through Panama.  THe title refers to The French diplomat Ferdinand de Lesseps, who undertook the project in 1875 and failed.  The image measures 9 3/8X12 1/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight watermarked laid type sheet.

Plate measures 8 x 9 5/8 inches on 9 3/4 x 11 3/8 inch wove type paper. Signed in blue ink in the lower right. Numbered in pencil in the lower left, print number 11 in an edition of 30. Good use of plate tone and a rich drypoint burr. Meyerowitz studied at the National Academy of Design in NY and is best known for his development of producing etchings in color. His work is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Carnegie Institute; National Academy of Design; Harvard University and the Library of Congress.

This is a rare early state etching by American artist Frank Benson.  The title is On Set Wings, created and printed in 1923.  This is a trial proof, hand signed in pencil, before the addition of the clouds and lines at the shore.  This image was later used as a frontispiece for Volume III of the Paff catalog.  The image measures 4 1/2X5 7/8 inches.  The image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 223.

Etching, image size 8 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches, 1931, pencil signed. Chahine studied at the Academia Di Belle Arti in Venice and then at the Academy Julien in Paris. He was a very well respected artist in his time, winning many awards and honors for his work. However his prints and paintings are hard to find, many of them were destroyed in a fire at his studio in 1926 or in a later flood in 1942.

This is a fine original etching by French artist Auguste Brouet (1872-1941)  The title is: Un rassemblement en Camargue, it was created and printed in 1925.  This image is numbered as 44/75 ..The image measures 8X12 1/4 inches.  the Cercle de la Librairie drystamp. in the lower right border.  Hand signed and numbered in pencil.  Fine condition with elaborate remarque in the lower border.  Boutitie 320, IFF 36.1, BPL 13, Universität Osnabrück, EH 4.

This is a finely detailed line engraving by British artist Robert Sargen Austin.  The title is: "The Pack Bridge, Aylestone, Leicestershire".  The image measures 4 13/16X4 7/16 inches.  It was created and printed in 1926 and appears in the Dodgson catalog as image number 65.  It was printed in an edition of 60.  

Printed on laid-type paper. Pencil signed with an "imp" after his name indicating he was the printer. Inscription in the lower left says "Rose." Image is 11 2/8 x 12 3/8 inches on 11 3/4 x 14 1/2 paper. c. 1910.

This is an original etching by American artist Thomas Moran.  The title of this work is: "A Tower of Cortes, Mexico", it was created and printed in 1883.  The image measures 12X9 3/4 inches.  Very rich impression, plate signed only.  This etching was printed on a medium weight buff toned wove type paper.

This is an original pencil signed and titled woodengraving by American artist Bernard Brussel-Smith. The title of this work is "Shore Leave", it was created and printed in 1941. It has an image size of 6X4 inches and was printed in an edition of only 50 signed proofs.
