Prints

This is an original mezzotint etching by British artist Percival Gaskell.  This view of river rapids has an image of 9 1/2X 13 5/8 inches.  Pencil signed lower right border, printed on a chin collet adhered to a thicker sheet.  Printed with a warm toned ink.  Gaskell is one of the best of the early British mezzotint artists.

This is a fine etching by American sporting artist Roland Clark.  The title of this work is: The Welcome, created and printed in 1926 in an edition of 65.  The image measures 10X8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower right and also titled lower in the border.  Printed on a wove type sheet with the Gelder Zonen watermark.  Fine use of plate tone in the water and sky.

This is an original early etching by American artist Chauncey Ryder, created circa 1920 during his trip to France. This etching is pencil signed, very richly printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  The image measures 9X12 inches.   Gorbio, France is a perched medieval village, high-up above Menton, in the southeastern corner of the Côte d’Azur. 

This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist William Strang.  This self portrait was created and printed in 1910.  It is inscribed, 2nd state, 2 proofs.  The image measures 9 7/8X7 inches.  A fine rich impression, nice use of plate tone.  This is printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

This is an original pencil signed and numbered lithograph by Dutch artist Maurice De Vlaminck.  The title is: Le Moulin de la Naze, created and printed in 1925.  This impression  is numbered as 35/35.  The image measures 7X10 1/2 inches.

This is an original early etching by French artist Edouard Henri Leon,  This image is titled: Les Canots de Pecher a Proscoff, Fishing Canoes in Proscoff.  Created and printed in 1926, hand signed in pencil the image measures 9X11 1/2 inches.  Printed on a heavy weight wove type sheet,  Although born and trained in Paris, Leon later worked in the USA and became a member of the Brooklyn Society of Etchers.

This is a fine original color aquatint by Czech artist Jaromir Stretti-Zamponi.  This view of Notre Dame in Winter has a image size of 14 1/2X13 inches.  Hand signed in pencil printed on a medium weight wove type paper, Very fine condition.  This image was created and printed circa 1920's...

This is a large original etching by British artist William Lee-Hankey.  The title is: The Drapery Market, circa 1920-30's...The image is in nice condition, hand signed in pencil in the lower border, with the artists blind stamp lower left.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet with watermark.  The image measures 12x13 3/4 inches.
