This rare, early 20th C. etching by Francis Hopkinson Smith measures 9 7/8 x 7 1/2 inches, pencil signed and titled. Smith was an author, artist and engineer, writing many books but also known for his atmospheric watercolors and oils. In his early years he is credited with building the foundation for the Statue of Liberty. At the age of 50 he gave up his engineering career and devoted the rest of his life to writing and painting.

This is an original lithograph, pencil signed and titled by American artist Lester G. Hornby.  The title of this work is: Gloucester Harbor, created circa 1920 this image is quite large measuring 13X17 1/2 inches.  A fine view of the Harbor traffic with the town in the distance.

Pencil signed in the lower right, "private proof" in the lower left. Plate measures 9 1/4 x 12 3/4 inches on 12 3/4 x 16 inch laid-type paper. C. 1930. This is a rare print and a rare subject for Kuhler, who is famous for his prints of trains and the industrial revolution.

Etching with drypoint by Ernest Haskell measures 10 5/8 x 5 inches, plate signed, 1923. This was a presentation print for the Brooklyn Society of Etchers. Ernest Haskell was born in Connecticut and in the early 20th century spent time in both New York and Paris. While in Europe he met Whistler and was inspired to take up etching; his style was greatly influenced by the work of Whistler as well as that of Rembrandt, Da Vinci and Durer.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Henry Rushbury.  The title is: "Old Deal", created in 1920, this etching has an image size of 6 7/8X7 inches.  Pencil signed lower right border, inscribed "30 impressions", this is an early state of three.

Etching printed in 1929. Edition of 50. Plate initialed and pencil signed, titled and editioned. Printed on JJ Head & Co handmade laid-type paper. Trial proof. Image measures 10 5/8 x 14 7/8 inches on 13 3/8 x 18 inches.

This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist Sir Frank Short.  The title is: A Lane in Arundel, it was created and printed in 1907.  The image measures 8 1/8X10 inches.  A rich impression.

This is a rare etching by American artist Ronau Woiceske.  The title is Big Sycamore, created and printed in 1940 in an edition of only 20.  Hand signed and titled in pencil.  The image measures 8 7/8X7 7/8 inches.  This scene was taken near Woodstock New York.

This landscape by Dexter Dawes of two majestic oaks measures 9 7/8 x 12 1/2 inches and is pencil signed on the lower margin. Dawes was born in Englewood, NJ and went on to study at New York City's Art Student League. He summered in Marlboro, NH surrounded by beautiful gardens with views of Mount Monadnock which became the inspiration for many of his lithographs and paintings. He belonged to a number of associations including the National Arts Club.

This is an original etching by American artist Harold Kerr Eby.  The title is: The Medway, created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 90.  The image measures 9 1/2X14 1/4 inches.  The image is of the city Rochester, near the mouth of the River Medway in Southeast England.  This etching is hand signed in pencil and finely framed using archival materials.  This image appears in the Eby catalog as image number G-143.

This lithograph with a delicate Manhattan skyline in the distance by Dexter Dawes measures 14 x 17 inches and is pencil signed in the lower margin. This is a very fine original etching by British artist Ian Strang (1886-1952)  This image titled: Place Cassanyes, Perpignan, was created and printed in 1920.  It is pencil signed lower right by the artist and has an image area of 6X9 inches.  Rich use of plate tone in the sky and sand.  Very nice condition, printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.

C. 1919, printed in 1929. Plate measures 7 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches on 12 x 8 3/4 inch on watermarked laid type paper. Estate stamp signed in the lower right, pencil signed in the lower left by the printer, Frank Nankivell. Edition of 200. Third and final state. Plate destroyed. This soft ground etching with aquatint print is bold in both contrast and its abstract composition.

This 1950 etching by the American artist Ernest Roth measures 9 x 12 inches, pencil signed, dated and plate titled. Created as a presentation print for the Society of American Etchers, Gravers, Lithographers and Woodcutters in 1951. Included is a analysis and appreciation of Roth's work by the president of the society, John Taylor Arms.

A wonderful etching depicting a band of strolling musicians and their caravan, by the British etcher, Sir Frank Short, measures 6 7/8 x 9 7/8 inches. Pencil signed on the l.r., Hardie cat: 335, 1907.
